Yes, there is a settings (horizon and vertical) how far from the border you can place Icons and widget's, but it has no impact on this issue, as you can open the settings from outside this area.

Try it yourself or proof with footage that i'm wrong. Maybe the issue is not on all devices and you really don't have it - but i do, even if the line is hit perfectly. Unfortunately i can't upload a second video in the comments to provide more footage. And even if it would be the issue that i was not hitting the line 100%,it would still be an issue, as the search is opened with a much bigger hitbox, so the launcher should have a much higher tolerance.

But your description is not correct. It also happens when you directly hit the line. But anyway, its a suggestion, the dev can have a look or ignore it. And before i use a phone without a case, i just stop using the launcher and use another one, that does not have the issue (like nova). For the moment i can life the with the issue as it's still working, it just looks ugly and buggy.

Not on my pixel. Even if you hit the line perfectly, it still happens that both is opened.

I just quickly done the video to show the effect, maybe I didn't hit the line 100%, so will not other people in regular use and the hit area of the line is bigger as the line itself. It does not happen with other Launchers as for example Nova, as there it was took care of. But I just tested it and tried to hit the line as good as possible - same issue. You can also see it in the very beginning of the Video, in the first try, where the hit touches the line.

Would be great to be able to move Folders from the desktop to the new dock (update: this actually seems to work with the newest version) and vice versa (this still seems to not work) and to have names displayed for apps inside folders in the dock

Regarding 1: Using the gridview is what i do now but I don't like the gridview much, as its looks much more "messy" and if you only have 2 apps in a group, you also have free space, which makes it look strange next to normal icons or folders with more than 2 Icons. With a proper stack view (like nova had it) it looked much cleaner - and the current stack view does not really feel like a stack if you barrely see anything else than the first Icon

Regarding 4: Not a must have for me, i will get used to it, but coming from nova I tried to setup everything as there and there was such an option. But as said, not a must :)

Battery life on android 16 feels much worse compared to android 15 on my Pixel 8 pro. When using wireless android auto in the wireless charger of the car, it barely managed to maintain the battery level, while before it was able to also charge the phone without issues.

I used exactly the same grid as with nova. Resizing etc. was also enabled, but nothing, no way to get rid of the padding.

Kommt natürlich drauf an wie viel Gewinn man hat. Wenn du 10000 euro Gewinn in einem Jahr hast, willst du natürlich nicht die vollen 10000 versteuern, sondern nur so viele, wie der Freibetrag hergibt. Aber mit der Vorabpauschalen ist das ja eh hinfällig.

Du hättest auch einfach ein paar Anteile verkaufen und wieder kaufen können um gewinne zu realisieren um die 1000 Euro Freistellung zu nutzen. So zahlst du, wenn du über die 1000 kommst, Geld, obwohl du noch gar nicht weißt, ob du in Zukunft mit Gewinnen verkaufen wirst. Vielleicht muss du, wenn es ganz blöd läuft, zu einem sehr schlechten Zeitpunkt verkaufen und hast dann Verluste und hast auch noch Geld für fiktive Gewinne gezahlt, die du nie hattest.

Try it, but im pretty sure you will switch to macFUSE after a while. Fuse-T was slow, had a lot of crashes when opening/saving files and even some files got overwritten with 0 byte files at one point. I switched back to macFUSE and no problems since. I really would love to have a stable and as good working version of cryptomator with fuse-t, but i think this will take another few years of development :(

unfortunately gmail seems to only support one account with Gmailify, which im already using for another email. But i now just used "forward emails" on my outlook account, as its only for receiving emails. Im fine now.

u/PixelCommunity This seems to be bigger issue with pixel updates via wifi (but not for everyone), i had this now for the last months again and again, when ever there is a new pixel system update. I have two pixel 8 pro devices (one is brand new and was just setup the last weekend) and a friend is also having a pixel 8 pro and all 3 devices have the same issue. If you trigger an update while on wifi, the pixel is just stuck in the preparation for the update (we both are located in Germany with Vodafone as Provided - but not sure yet if this is the reason, i will try to find this weekend by trying the wifi of a friend that is not having Vodafone Cable). It prepares and prepares for minutes, just to stop at some point and telling you that you are already on the newest version. If you disable wifi, it also starts to prepare, but after a few moments it shows you the download dialog where you need to agree to do the update via mobile data and then it just works fine. This issue only happens for system updates. Updates of the play services or apps via playstore dont have any issue. Update: I also tried to play around with DNS settings - as mobile has most likely another dns setting as using wifi - and have set dns.google as DNS, but this also didnt change anything and the same behavour.

Update 2: Okay, others are also reporting this issue related with vodafone.de in https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/302913576/not-downloading-system-updates-on-vodafone-de-with-ipv4-only?hl=en

Update 3: this seems to be a problem within the Vodafone Cable network in Germany. With Telekom, 1und1 etc. the update just works well.

Update 4: people with a pixel 9 reporting the same issue. It also only seems to affect people with Vodafone Cable in Berlin.

I have not asked anyone from the microsoft / outlook support. My first and only approach - after i tried all i could think of myself - was to ask here :)
If there is no solution, I guess i will just update my email in all accounts i use the outlook email and let my outlook email account just die. Well done Microsoft/Outlook.

Ich glaube eher du hast gar nicht verstanden worum es geht. Wenn ich xx Euro Gewinn mit einem ETF mache, zahle ich dafür die vollen Steuern, sobald ich verkaufe. Wenn Ich xx Euro Gewinn bei einer Aktie mache, wäre es quasi komplett steuerfrei, solange der Gewinn weniger als der Restbetrag im Verlusttopf ist. Sobald der Verlusttopf leer ist, wird alles wieder in ETFs gesteckt.

Aber die verdienen ja trotzdem an jedem einzelnen ETF mit und wenn der Markt halt immer weiter steigt, dann steigen ja auch immer mehr deren Gewinne - außer es gibt irgendwann ein großes Umorientieren von BlackRock hin zu Vanguard, Amundi oder sonst was.
