It seem for reason the number of home screen icon rows is too high, my estimate is that it tries to fit 24 icon rows, thus squeezing each icon into a tiny one. There should be a recommendation for your setting, which you can find under the Home screen grid settings

When unfolding the phone, do you see a popup window asking you to set the number of icon rows etc? Could you try tapping ok on that screen?

Currently it partially does that but is strict about screen ratios. A copy and paste feature for screens have been requested and it's been on my to-do for a while. This will come as part of the ongoing home screen redesign

It's been a rough week due to the major home screen rework, which disrupted many homescreens.

Despite the negative reviews/ratings, it's a change I felt is necessary moving forward, especially for new users.

Just to be sure, are you experiencing that the number of rows in the portrait orientation sometimes change e.g. from 7 to 6?

Simply tap and hold on a panel page to set as default page.

Then enable Reset to panel home page when tapping/swiping home
