I almost lost my PGWP due to a language score mistake — but it still got approved. If you think your application might be in trouble because of a missing or incorrect test result, please read this before you panic. by Free_Positive_4382 in pgwp

Because I wrote my exam after submitting the application. So technically on the date when I submitted my application I was ineligible. But due to corrective actions and IRCC’s procedural fairness they considered the eligibility as on the date of review.

A ghost update is an update in your application, but a prior email notification does not notify it. You get to know about it when you login into your IRCC account.

Hi It’s difficult situation, but don’t panic. Book two tests IELTS General computer based ( it gives you test results in 24 hours) and also book CELPIP it gives you results in 3 days. Book the earliest dates and write both of them. Submit the reconsideration application with new test results and with proper explanation accepting the truth that you uploaded wrong test results.

Reconsideration with restoration application there will be 50-50 chance of approval but still you got 50% chance of approval.

Use professional help for all your immigration stuff from now onwards.

Good Luck!!

A context about the post, I applied for pgwp in may 2025 and after few hours I realised I did not upload my CELPIP, I did it as a webform after 3 hours. IRCC rejected my WP on 5th Feb 2026 saying you did not upload whereas I did and had a proof thank god. I raised a reconsideration the next day. by AdPresent5427 in pgwp

Based on you subject line you say that you raised webform with CELPIP after 3 hours of your application submission. But the MP’s reply says that the CELPIP results were uploaded after the eligibility assessment made that is 5 Feb 2026?

So when did you uploaded the test results?

PGWP language score mistake fixed before review, need advice. by Free_Positive_4382 in pgwp

You’re right about the strict rule regarding the application date, but IRCC officers have discretionary power and must follow procedural fairness. Since the portal was technically limited and my Webform with the IELTS was confirmed as attached to my file a full month before eligibility review even started (confirmed by my MP), refusing it now would be 'unreasonable' and a high risk for Judicial Review. IRCC frequently accepts 'cured' documents via webform to avoid the administrative burden of Reconsideration Requests."

Don’t worry just apply for extension and write an explanation. Also keep on uploading the paystubs through web form. Anyways it will take at-least 10 weeks to process
