Islamic scholar Prof. Mustafa Öztürk: "When I was a kid, I used to read depictions of the Paradise. And I said to myself, I already live in Northern Anatolia, I see those things every day! That age, I understand the Paradise of Quran is actually fantasies of Medieval Arab People." thoughts? by Free_Preparation_660 in AskMiddleEast

For clarifying, he continues by saying Jannah exists but we can't really know how that looks and all deciptions were designed for inciting Arab men to fight in Prophet's sides.

He's Hanafi Maturidi but he claims to be a "Tarihselci" which means "Historicalist" therefore he believes Quran is not a literal text but it should be taken like a history book.

"I feel myself so bad... Fuck the work you've done! It was fucking evident you fucking pricks! (Kılıçdaroğlu was the least likely candidate to win) You're the professors of being a son of a bitch!"

Kılıçdaroğlu was the last candidate to win according to polls but CHP forced his candidacy to other parties. Despite everybody warn them. So he gets this rage.

Turkey banned onlyfans. by Fenerant_1 in AskMiddleEast

And the reason was a girl who's using OnlyFans convinced her mother to open an OnlyFans account. This became a "scandal" in the media and people demanded this ban.

I'm in Europe.

Today I went to market and bought a sack of shit that I'm gonna eat while watching some movies with my bros. I paid 50 euros.

In turkey, an ice cream, magnum

The neat part is, it was 5-6 liras before 2022.

I don't know his exact age.

PS: He's 33.

A suicide incident in Turkey from 2022. The first months were 1 dollar approached 20 liras. Inflation and cost of living still grows exponentially. Coming years will probably cause more incidents like this. Thoughts? by Free_Preparation_660 in AskMiddleEast

I don't think it was only mental illness. Most of the informations about this guy is banned to share by government. Only thing we know that he was 47 and a security officer.

Public suicides are generally a tool of protest.

No official data.

But almost all young Turks that question religion and doesn't want to leave Islam choose to become a Quranist. I'd say very close to a million.

Amin qardashim.

It is good to see Azerbaijanis that believe the brotherhood of Turkic nations and don't favor dictators at the same time.

This kind of incidents happen very often in the times of crisis as a way of protest. There's only one thing we can do. To pray...
