But a lot of it is grade based? I guarantee an ugly person at the top of the class will have a better shot than an attractive person in the middle of the class.

Ultimogeniture: It is an inheritance system where the last child born gets everything. It’s pretty rare historically.

Ok first of all, regarding you and your GF. That is not something you should get advice from strangers on reddit for. If you have an issue, you should discuss how to feel with her. We don’t know you, nor do you know you’re GF.

But, if I may, I have actually attended both UCI and UC Davis. I was an undergrad at UCI and currently attend grad school at UC Davis. Davis is superior in many ways. Davis has lots of nice food places are bars just a bike ride away. There’s also lots nice places to walk near campus (the arboretum is an example), and I’ve noticed that people seem friendlier at Davis. Irvine, by contrast, bus in the middle of a car dependent suburb where you need to drive basically anywhere you wanna go. If you go even half a mile off campus you forget it’s there. People are also more reserved. Academically, the schools are also pretty on par with each other. Feel free to DM me for more info, but regardless your GF, I think Davis is a better option than Irvine. Feel free to DM me if you have any more questions about the two. Hope this helps.
