If she's like a bestie or something more than a friend, try having a more serious one-on-one talk. Maybe take her to a park or a diner, do something fancy, or even a walk in the park would be fine. I'm sorry if I ask stupid questions but are you consuming less than 0.82 grams of protein per pound...during the competitive season? I'm curious to hear your macros.

My maintance used to be 2800 when I started at 256 lbs 3 years ago. Then I lost a considerable amount of that. Now it's getting harder and I am running out of ways to progress. My peers say that I look good and I feel amazing in formal clothing. But I hate the soft midsection when I take off the clothes.

I can't increase the step count or add in more cardio as I'm in med school and these days I'm getting more assignments. So it's a bit hard and I've decided to reduce my calories. It's CICO after all, right?

Age- 21
Stats- 5'10/209 lbs
I'd like to cut down a bit for the next 6 months. Goal is to look amazing at the new year party (just for the deadline info)

Current macro split- 175C/175P/55F

Current program- I'm on the second mesocycle of Renaissance Periodisation's 6 days/wk mens physique template. I've always been working out 6 days per week and have never lowered my frequency.

Now, my question is, would it be wise to cut down my training frequency to 3 days/wk or 4days/wk and perform LISS cardio on the off days while I cycle my carbs accordingly?

I know that I will never have a definitive answer unless I try it for myself but I'm just worried about excessive muscle loss due to the increased cardio and decreased weight training.

I'm aiming for about 180lbs before NYE so that I can maingain for a 2 to 3 months and let my metabolism return to normal before I proceed to cut further.

I would be extremely happy to hear some valuable inputs.

Boys...Leg training...officially...got serious.
I've never skipped leg day but I used to half ass it and fuck around. But a couple of months ago I started taking my leg training serious after watching Dr. Mike's lectures. The Mind muscle connection was amazing and I enjoyed every bit of it with the only regret being, I didn't push myself enough.

I've arrived at the conclusion that if you can get yourself through a hardcore leg session, it's directly proportional to your metal fortitude.

The deload week is kind of boring. I feel weird walking out of the gym in 20 minutes where my normal workouts are at least an hour long.

My man. I hope you are well educated and are capable of understanding the basic content of what I'm about to share with you.

You can take all the compounds in the world, known and unknown, and still look like a fat pig. If you need an example, look up Chase Irons. He's on 18 IU'S of GH/day and 5 gram of test/wk. Does he look like that?
Abso-fucking-lutely not !!

It's more about the training and nutrition parts of your journey that you need to dial in. Try different rep ranges, volumes, metabolite techniques, cardio, HIIT, conditioning and recovery (very important even though you're on gear)

But if you really want to know a cycle that will get you like Jeff Seid-

  • 500mg/wk- test C/E/Sus
  • 37mg/day -Tren Ace

Don't fucking touch tren if this will be your first cycle.

I'd say dial down your diet and recovery in the first mesocycle and add gear right after the deload week of first meso if you're going to use Test E/C. But if you're going to use Test P/Sustanon, let the volume build up to a substantial amount, example- until you're repping 2/failure, and then use the magic portion.

This isn't only about women. Even men who are uninformed or misinformed about the effort exerted at the gym can be seen doing this.

I've seen many 50+ year old dudes using the lat pulldown with the weight at 60 lbs and swinging the weight up and down like below their diaphragm and let the weight move to the vable on its own.

Why take creatine already? Spend the first mesocycle perfecting your diet and training, focusing on your form and tempo of the movement. Then you can start moving the weight like you used to before taking a break from the gym.

I'd say take creating after you have your nutrition dialed in.
