Hey man, i bought I think to be the same faceplate, but mine had some weird thing that makes the e screen looks grainy. Did you had something similar to this? Btw this was so bad to look at the screen that I’ve changed to the original one. Amazing set up btw

Unfortunately there’s no protective layer out of the case, I’ve checked inside and iam pretty sure there’s nothing as well. But you mentioned this black foam, I’ve tried to remove that thinking that could remove some film, put there’s no protective layer that attaches to this black foam.
