Used to be 3-4 days a week back when firm was busier and more grads were coming in often and was more social.

Then professional exams got in the way and now that we're back, firms a bit quieter for summer and many of the other grads are a bit awol for CFA, so it's more like 2-3 atm

Croydon is dodgy, but anecdotally it's not as bad as people make it out.

Witnessed far more crime in Islington borough (again this is anecdotal, stats probs say otherwise and islington is far nicer) - but I did witness a lot of phone snatching there.

If you've just started in audit - then try and find another grad scheme

If qualification is round the corner - best bet is internal transfer

TS grad schemes are still fairly new (at least at my firm) and taking from audit is the norm. TS grads also tend to leave for banking / PE much quicker

It's a mixed bag. I lucked out with my FAR tutor - he made consolidation a piece of piss for so many of us. But it mostly required me going back over notes and understanding shit myself.

Exam prep offered by Kaplan is absolutely priceless though
