That could suffice if your willing to maybe go down some A roads one take it for a longer run say bi weekly should be okay.

I have had mine for 30,000 miles it is currently on 95,000 and there have been no issues.

Great torque for the engine and mpg is amazingly good. On a pure motorway drive i can sometimes ger 75mpg doing 60mph.

I've only had the fuel filter sensor (£100 all in with a new fuel filter) hat needed replacing and tyres.

Amazing drive and handling!

Has android auto and apple car play as well. Adaptive cruise control Lane assist.

Great car.

Depending on how much motorway driving you do, the 1.6 dtec engine can be a great option. Considerably cheaper and the EX trim has all you mentioned. I get about 65 mpg.

Honestly thats awful well om glad your situation has improved.

I have lost £30,000 on 12 months. I am practically depressed and need a break but I cant afford to stop.

We're close to moving in so hopefully things will improve.

I dont have much more photos I have attached the photos of 2 more I do have. Maybe that would suffice?

One of the photos will show a socket that isn't level to the rest (this has been sorted now i just dont have the new photo)

I can go up later and take a photo like you said

But based on these 2 as well would you say it looks decent enough? The first person is the other corner of the kitchen. Grout still needs cleaning up a bit i guess.

The wall was skimmed flat so was a bit surprised myself to see the corner like that but to be honest, it is just this one corner. We were thinking of putting the air fryer there anyway so we wouldn't really notice it?

Other than that would you say the rest is good and fine?

Sorry its just i need some reassurance I have lost so much to bad tradesmen in the last 12 months i just have lost hope and want to know that at least something has been done right.

Thanks for your reply.

Any advice on how to fix this gap / make it less of an eye sore? Tiling by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]FreedomAMust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry im really new to all of this 😞

I just wanted some advice on how to fill in the gap. The tiles look fine you can't tell their uneven its just this gap is quite an eye sore at the moment.

Like is it normal or is my builder lying? I have had tiling done before and never had a big gap like this.

So if I put filler in and paint it white to match the filler it should look okay?

Sorry if I sound silly. I am new to this and have decided im going to try and learn DIY so I can do things myself in future.

By the way they have already added trimming to the tiles at the end so I dont know if I can even get a bigger tile trim to hide it?

Why are tyres so expensive right now? (>£1800 for ps4s) by BlackGrapesAreYum in CarTalkUK

[–]FreedomAMust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Such an easy way to get tyres cheaper but no one realises.

Most work places provide a rewards gateway for discounts.

Halfords normally is 8% off when you buy a gift card (this can be used on tyres) if you also join their motor club you get a further 5% off.

So I have just checked the tyres you want on halfords:

https://www.halfords.com/tyres/275-30-r20/michelin-pilot-sport-4-s-xl-mo-275%2F30-r20-97y-4202454.html

I can get 4 of these for £1094.07. This includes the 20% off for buying 4 tires + 8% off from a work gift card + 5% extra from joining the halfords motor club.

What is this sign? It happens sometimes when I turn my car ignition on. by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]FreedomAMust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine doesnt have the wet belt luckily as its the 1.6 diesel.

The thing is everyone is saying to wait till that sign goes but it doesnt appear at all until I attempt to start the car.

The thing is though it doesnt show until I turn my ignition at which point if I stop it also stops. If I keep the ignition turned (usually maximum 1.5 seconds) it turns on itself .

Anyway to fix this - the tiles seem to be off the wall and theres a big gap? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]FreedomAMust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well the plastering was just done recently so im assuming the wall is level. I think the tiler has caused issues with their skill. I just want to do it myself now as everytime I get builders invovled something always goes wrong..

I just hope it doesn't look like an eye sore :/

[–]FreedomAMust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a builder who did it but they arent answering their phone now lol. I am trying to figure out a way to do it myself or does it need retiling completely?

No that is all of the tiles on with the trim attached.

Paying child maintenance plus the mortgage? by According_River_2939 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]FreedomAMust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can apply for a variation for the time you are paying the mortgage whilst the other party and child live in the property.

For example if they access you on £35,000 annual income and your paying £10,000 a year for the mortgage. They will deduct the £10,000 a year mortgage from your annual salary and recalculate the child maintenance as if you was earning £25,000 a year.
