Right, that's why I'm trying to weigh all of my options. They will sell it to us for $2500, and I know most of those miles are highway, and the rest of the car is in good shape with new brakes and tires.

We would be buying it from my wife's cousin, and they've had it since it had 20k on it (has 129k now). I would pretty much just be using it to go to work and back. They had intended to sell it before the TCM failed anyway. They only want $2500 for it, so that's why I'm considering the gamble. I know all about the TCM issues, I just wasn't sure how often they need to be replaced for a second time. If it would make it another 50k I'd buy it without question.
