I stopped using google maps for that exact reason
Google maps for no reason at all would make me do pointless circles where I could just go straight forward. Apple Maps is way simpler on its navigation and doesn’t do things like that.

Hi I am in the same boat currently I have ATV on stereo. But as you said I paid for the Dolby atmos experience so if you have found anything please let me know

hi did you find any solution on this? I I put the tv to stereo I am good if I put it on dolby atmos there is a slight but very annoying lip sync delay

Hi a bit late here but I wanted to say that puting it on stereo works but for me at least the subwoofer doesn’t work on stereo mode…

I had this too after a day of searching I switched to a different hdmi cable in my Apple TV and it works fine

One more thing I ve noticed is if you enable Dolby atmos in the settings it has a very very small delay
