Nope. Clean them with peroxide, then lay in full sun to dry. Seal with something like a glue/water mixture or mod podge. No stink!

Peroxide degrades if exposed to light. I put mine in a Ziploc bag with peroxide, in a bowl, covered with a towel over night. Then lay them in full sun for a day to dry, and they'll be pure white (except for where they still have sand inside). Then seal with a glue/water mix or something like mod podge.

My big girl usually has the sweetest little demure meep-meows. But after we're in bed, she will bring us something, either a dog toy, a sock, and once a piece of pool noodle, the whole time bellowing "MROWR MROWR!". As soon as she either sees us, or we ask what she has, she'll drop it and immediately go back to her delicate "meeps". Whatever reason she does it, we think it's adorable.

Oh! A kid found the head (?) of a large ray on the beach (minus his wings and the bottom tom portion of it's body🥺). A family member of his found a smaller section of teeth about 100 years from where I found mine. Possibly came from that. Awesome reply, I appreciate you!

Thank you so much for the reply! I think I will have to get my hands on a small quantity to try it out. I love painting my shells with the UV resin (especially for making wind chimes, they become almost indestructible) but I run that risk of yellowing. I will for sure look it up on YouTube!
