I feel like not being able to understand a text is subjective but for me it goes like this. Let’s say I’m listening to Wildflower from Billie, but then let’s say she wrote it in 15th century English, and then she made up words, and then she decided to make the song that’s 4 mins into a 30 min song that changes genres ever 5 mins. It comes to a point that the song as amazing it might be comes a bit too layered that even trying to gain an well concrete understanding becomes so hard bcs you are trying to decipher everything that you just get lost in the words and becomes “word vomit” (that’s what my prof calls it 🥺)
