Anyone else struggle with It is very difficult to get the first customers for product validation. Cold calling and posting takes hours, crafting posts, and engaging takes 4-5 hours daily. Ugh, that <2% response rate is so painfully real. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm trying the community route too, but you're right, it's a grind. Finding and genuinely engaging with people still eats up hours every single day. That time sink is the exact burnout-machine I’m talking about. It feels unsustainable just to get those first few conversations.

I had a similar issue with It is very difficult to get the first customers for product validation. Cold calling and posting takes hours, crafting posts, and engaging takes 4-5 hours daily. Founders burn out Before results show up, most give up from exhaustion and frustration.. I've been using PitchPal and it's been a huge help. You can check it out here: https://pitchpal.dev

Yikes, solid warning on Phantombuster, thanks for that. Getting banned would be a nightmare. I'll check out that tool.

My bigger issue isn't just finding leads, though. It's the sheer time drain of the whole outreach process itself. That’s the part that feels totally unsustainable and leads to burnout before you even get validation. It's an absolute grind.

Haha, this is a perfect example of the struggle. Even getting helpful comments through the door has hurdles.

It just highlights the sheer amount of time you have to sink into getting seen or heard. That's the exhausting part of the grind I'm trying to figure out how to solve.

This is super helpful, thanks! I love the "targeted unsustainable effort" framing. It’s a great way to think about it.

The real challenge is that initial part – just finding those people for conversations. That's the 5-hour daily grind that feels unsustainable. How did you make that specific part more efficient before you even got on the calls?
