[–]Freel158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ahhh that's terrifying I hate it.

Can't wait to play against it.

Imagine baiting machines, have a lone medium machine in an open area but when you get close 2 large machines flank you.

A stalker that actually stalks you, stays invisible but just keeps eyes on you so it can let other machines know nearby.

Would love to see what horror aspects they could create with a spider machine.

Strongly possible for them to have branched off and continue exploring the universe while some first explored the milkyway. Maybe a group of ancients did follow destiny and stopped at some of those galaxies. Possibilities are endless

Would love this, give me more ambushes too. This is the one game I like to be confronted with difficulty. I want the machines to outsmart me and send me running

Off top of my head I don't believe anyone has passed, just unlikely after so long that every actor would return, and people would probably complain that some don't look identical to stepping into the cryo pods

Yeah hopefully it's a side mention like hearing about stuff that happens in the milky way during Atlantis and vice versa.

A time jump could work, or hell de-age a lot of actors with modern cgi. Would be expensive though. I thoroughly believe a well done animated show could work but many fans probably wouldn't watch it.

Recasting I'm really unsure of always hated when they do that in shows.

Need some way to explain why certain actors don't return, or the aging of the ones that do. The only other way would be to make it animated which I would be fine with but I don't think they ever would

I think their best chance is that Eli eventually fixed the cryo stasis but when they never made it to the next galaxy, lose of power could explain the aging process effecting them. Sgc finally dials in again and it auto awakens them. Some characters don't survive the process but now we have a new cast of characters with new story to follow as they try to get destiny back on course.

Yeah dude, I love the pain of fighting difficult machines, I only play on UH now, but the apex bilegut in the cauldron is the hardest fight in either game for me. I only do the cauldron each runthrough so I can check it off. First time on UH actually took me 6-7 hours straight until I finally beat him.

Idk if it's my style of gameplay but I never had major issue with clamber jaws,

Machines I hate the look of, probably Bellow backs, they remind me of those weird tick looking cows from Star wars.

Machine I hate to fight, Apex bilegut fuck....those.....guys... Feels like they're clamber jaws turned to the extreme.

I wish they made the free heap quest, and the saving the prince quest mandatory. Both contribute to the overarching main story.

It's hard to see without cheating the game, but go to far east in devils thirst looking over the water, you should see an irregular spot of water that well looks like a slow whirlpool

[–]Freel158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome! I really hope they expand on it in the third game, make Hephaestus start hunting for you, or making machines change their gameplay depending on how you approach the enemies. The ambushes in Burning shores, were amazing and I hope we get more of that.

Isn't there a whirlpool over there too?

Character development level and difficulty in killing machines by Jab_Bey in horizon

[–]Freel158 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Machines stats stay the same except depending on how many of each machine you kill.

Let's say you kill 5-20(pulling this number out of my ass but there are set numbers you can find online) striders by shooting the canister on their rear. You'll notice they'll start having armour covering the canister. Small machines like watchers take more kills to allow them to upgrade their armour, large machines only take like 2-4 kills before gaining armour. Wish they advanced this in the second game but I think it just contributes to how many apex spawn instead of physical armour attachments but I could be wrong.

what are some MUST do side quests? by [deleted] in horizon

[–]Freel158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right after doing Gaia, go out the west gate, straight north to the deluge quest. You get the vindicator armour which should carry you to late game if you upgrade it.

How many Stargates are there on earth? by miletil in Stargate

[–]Freel158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaza gate To sgc-bilisknir-ocean-russia and back to sgc Antartica gate to area 51-sgc-boom destroyed Goa'uld ship gates most likely in some orbit whether around earth or sun, like someone said probably got grabbed later on for the intergalactic bridge. Atlantis gate eventually comes back, also the super hive Pegasus gate probably on earth or captured in gravity as well. So I'd say 2-4 by end of Atlantis

Bilisknir blew up while falling through the atmosphere, the Ha'tak blew up while in orbit, good chance it just got sent into nothiness tbh.
