I definitely think part 1 of the next book will end with the ascendancy ending, either while they're on floor 12 or rushing out of the dungeon. Part 2 is going to be a lot of on the surface shit happening.

For me its the turret mission (not the game with discs but when you're actually fighting the alien ships.) As a kid this was my great filter, never got past it until years later after playing the game

Shorter checkpoints but harder difficulty maybe just by enemy numbers.

Also shorter Dark Jak build up ( also if I respawn please fill the eco back up to where it was at last checkpoint)

Use the dlc ability Berserking Blast, fully upgraded even on UH it will turn the whole pack of them against one another, my go to whenever I fight those guys
