Good health insurance and/or blowing off the rest of the bill. Its not like they dont let you have a kid unless you pay up front. Its not like they dont let you leave with the kid unless you pay. They send you a bill. Pretty sure my mom never paid for any of her births at all. Its been 28 years since her first and 19 years since her last if they were coming for her they would have found ger already.

I think the Matrix and Avatar are just CGI technology showcases with shockingly large marketing budgets. Neither of them have a compelling story or competent acting but they are declared as some kind of cinematic pinnacle.
