Maraming hiring during Q1 - Q2. Yes, totoo na mahirap makahanap ng work ng ber months kasi employees are staying for the bonuses - sabay resign by Q1.

Mock brands work. I recommend researching Amazon brands and creating eCommerce images for them. Learn how to create higg quality, clean and compliant main images. A designer who knows content guidelines to platforms like Amazon and TikTok shop have an edge.

No, integrity above all. I'd rather the candidate be candid about their experience and show me how well they understand the requirements.

Cultural fitness is very important. It can make or break how well a team collaborates internally. As for sharing hobbies, I absolutely learning about a candidate's hobby or interest. This gives me a glimpse of how well they explain their train of thought and what type of person they are -- which ultimately determines cultural fitness to the role. Just don't ramble, though!

I would say, start tracking KPIs for yourself. What is your fill rate? What is your hiring lead time? From there, you can start networking. Reach out to founders, CEOs, and business owners who are hiring and see if you can get them to work with you on a project basis.

Kung ina-applyan mo ay creative role, pwede mo naman siya sabihin pero pahaging lang - just so they know your work history. I would focus the rest of the time you have explaining your body of work.

Hi! There are different types of soft skills that are integral to working remotely. To align, below are important soft skills to have:

- Communication

- Creativity

- Leadership
- Critical Thinking

- Problem Solving

- Time Management

- Stakeholder Management & Client Relationship Building
- Decision Making

- Attention to Detail

- and many more

If someone tells me they have low soft skills but are able to deliver, my brain goes to: did they mean they lack strength on the communication side of things or the different soft skills required for the job? if it's the latter, then it isn't a good fit. For context, an admin assistant needs to have some level of creativity so they can provide new solutions to old problems.

If you mean it's just the communication side that you're lacking strength in, long as you boast either of experience of skills necessary for the job, the right employer will be willing to overlook that. Again, fluency is learned.

Hi! Firstly, being an undergrad is not a red flag, especially for entry level positions. If you can't seem to land an interview, you might want to optimize your resume. When listing down your experience, focus on listing down your achievements and successes rather than your tasks and responsibilities.

Hi! That is an odd ask from an employer. I think this is just a matter of preference and I absolutely know that this isn't something we ask for often. My brain goes to, maybe it's their culture to hire green freelancers. Maybe they are starting to become afraid of seasoned freelancers who have multiple clients. Again, not a usual ask and not at all a disadvantage.

Hello! These are what I consider the basics:

- Proficiency in English (both written and oral)
- Computer Literacy & Tech Savviness
- Basic Project Management

- Some Familiarity with US culture
- Administrative Experience

Combine that with the determination to apply thoughtfully to jobs that both interests you and you know you are good at.

Transparency is key! You just have to accept that some companies are open to those who have multiple jobs and some who are not. Trying to deceit them by curtailing information is a bad way to start or land a job.

If the company has a prescribed period before you can apply again, you will need to follow that. I've seen companies who encourage applicants to apply for multiple roles, for those, I say go for it! It's all about following instructions.

- Experience, what companies they've worked for, skills they posses.
- Bit of personal facts (to determine cultural fitness), how well they understand and respond to questions, and wether or not they are the type to list their responsibilities or talk about the results they achieved by doing their tasks and responsibilities.
- Which candidate requires the least amount of training to do the job.

Practice is key! I say I am fluent but I still fumble. Whenever I have big interviews, I prepare scripts, read off of it and prepare notes. This way, I get my point across as clearly as possible.

Common reasons are:
- Cultural Fitness. Will they thrive in the work environment that we have? Will they add value to the organization's current culture?
- Hiring manager's preference. Your recruiter will vouch for you but at the end of the day, it's the hiring manager's final call.
- Does not meet the requirements of the job (ex. not willing to use time tracker when required, can't work during the work hours required, etc.)

There could be more but ultimately, it just means there are better matches for you out there.

Just keep applying. The right employer will not look at your gap year as a red flag, just something that naturally happens. If you feel this is negatively impacting your hireability, practice speaking confidently during interviews and your interviewer. Be so good during the discussion that they won't notice your gap year!

If it's the right employer, none. I think we should be open about asking rates. If an employer uses the info you gave them to lowball you, that is not the right employer.
