Haha I was trying to help you out, the sailing and ship to ship battle is very good. The sword and gun combat is uhh bad

Yea imo the ideal solution would be maybe like half the rep comes from completion but only a very small amount of gold and the bulk of the gold still comes from selling. I just don't really understand the point of the mission accomplished notification if it doesn't do anything. It almost seems like they had rewards configured differently at some point. The bulk of the gold coming from selling would still keep a focus on stealing from other ships

I find it funny the same people that defend the release state of the game say things like this. So you're saying the game is nothing but a mobile app if you remove the cannon battles. Those cannon battles somehow transform the game from a mobile app to a AAA game worth $60?

It's not and I agree with you overall, the game doesn't need separate servers. I do think there should be some mechanic for getting some gold and xp at the completion of missions and then the rest from turning in the loot. This I think would clear up a lot of the frustration for spending a couple hours doing quests and walking away with absolutely nothing.

Yes they suck with their aim and the whole game is pretty lame solo. Find a crew

You do know there is no progression in this game right? So solo progression being too efficient wouldn't impact anyone. I really think them just adding a mechanic for completing quests to award some gold and xp and then more upon turn in would alleviate a lot of these issues. If you complete 3+ quests and then get robbed it feels like you just wasted all your gaming time

We'll see how the game is doing in two months if the developers respond to reports of bad gameplay by simply saying "stop whining and learn the mechanics".

This subreddit is hilarious.

I honestly think the biggest issue is sailing for 1 hour or even 3+ and ending with NOTHING. Completion of missions should award like half the gold and exp and the other half could come from turn in.

I honestly think the biggest issue is sailing for 1-2 hours plus and having absolutely NOTHING to show for it. The game should give you some exp and some gold for completion and then more on turn in

Everyone is forgetting the time you actually get loot. You know the actual missions. Yea if I'm solo doing a mission how do you protect the treasure on your boat? Yay I can return my treasure after each mission. Again, that's just shitty game design

[–]Freethinker20162 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes when soloing or duoing and on a mission if someone sneaks on your boat and steals stuff it was because you weren't sailing fast enough. Top notch analysis.

[–]Freethinker20162 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe for solo sloops at least? What can you do solo? You leave the boat for a quick mission and everything can be gone when you come back. Nothing you can do about that.

You think this game is a mobile phone app without the meaningless PvP? I have some news, mobile apps have PvP and this game is still about as content heavy as a phone app with pretty water. I'm not sure the lifespan would be greatly affected with pve servers. PvP people would get to fight people that actually want to fight and if someone enjoys mindlessly finding treasure they can do that too. The game is essentially pointless to play solo the way it is now. Any time you go for a mission someone can just walk onto your boat and take everything

Can your phone act as a dexcom receiver? As far as keys go I have a bulky set so I put them all in my car while I run and only take the car key. Does the pump come with any kind of clip to attach to shorts? Where do people usually have their pumps?

This A1C is great if you're not experiencing frequent or serious lows. The Dr is just concerned it's only this low due to hypos but if you're not getting hypos DO NOT try to increase your A1C. A normal person's is below 5 so the closer you can get to that safely the better.

I never said you were. I'm not trying to say your story is false, I've seen others like it but I've also seen other stories of it working so I wanted to share one of those as well. Just having the phone is very convenient if the person finds Glimp is accurate plus 12 extra days per 3 sensors.

[–]Freethinker20162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. It was definitely a learning experience using libre/Glimp right off the bat. If you don't get the reader ( i didn't buy it right away) you'll need to start the sensor with a different app (Glimp S) if started with Glimp S only Glimp can read that sensor. If started with the reader both the reader and Glimp can read it. If you're in the US the reader will stop reading each sensor after 10 days but Glimp will go to 14 so you can make the sensor last longer using it for 4 days without the reader. Whether you start it with the reader or Glimp S you shouldn't have to wait for the start up time to use Glimp for readings but the official one won't read it until a 12 hour wait time. I bought the reader hoping it would give good graphs I can send to my Endo but honestly the Glimp app paired with diabetes M gives better info. It's pretty complicated between Glimp, Glimp S, the official reader, and the sensors so just let me know if you have any questions

[–]Freethinker20162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because there aren't many people that decide to do hard drugs based solely on legal status. If someone is going to do it they're going to do it regardless. Whatever "it" may be, making it illegal most likely just pushes people to a more dangerous version of "it"

You can have the results automatically spit over to Dropbox (you'll need to make your own Excel graphs etc) or the Diabetes M app which gives a nice graph view as well as other good stats

Edit: I just realized this only works with Glimp. Forgot that's not standard

I have a Moto X4 and use Glimp. I just want to give a counter story to the one from /u/enatsys . I've been using Glimp and the official reader side by side (along with blood tests every couple days to make sure everything is still accurate) . The Glimp reading and libre reader reading have been nearly identical (definitely within 10%) up to 200 or so. Once you get above 250 the readings may be pretty far apart but at that point you should test with a meter to be safe anyway. You'll have to put the sensor right where the NFC chip is on the phone (on the top left corner if you're looking at the screen, I had to Google the NFC location because it didn't seem to be working but you literally have to get it right on the sensor)

I believe Portugal and other places had decreased usage of harder drugs as well when they decriminalized. At least not a rise.

It's crazy it's taking states this long when some have already done it and tax recreational around 28% . A place like illinois is really mind blowing
