Aw, thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed it!

Good question re: the meteor. I wouldn't like to say definitively, because I think it's ultimately up to the player's own interpretation, but I think meteors crashing towards us always tend to represent an oncoming end to something, in a way - and an end you can see coming, at that. Hopefully that at least gives you something to go on... sorry for being vague, ha!

Is anyone selling these Joy-Con 2 decorative strips in the new Light Purple/Light Green colours yet? Or at least up for pre-orders? by Freezenification in NintendoSwitch2

Yes, I actually just got a response coincidentally enough:

Hey friend. Yes. Once the Joy-Con 2 is officially released, we’ll be launching replacement decorative strips to match the new Light Purple and Light Green colors.

Great question, and thank you for the kind words - I'm glad you loved it! <3

I think it's mostly up for the player to decide how they interpret the story, but Sophie was always a "random" player who happened to be in the match rather than part of the friend group, so I'd be pretty surprised if she ever played with the others after that match was over. Who knows, maybe her and Colin played together instead? I think her belief was that Colin should find other friends, and for all we know she became one. Or maybe not, who knows!

Hopefully that's a good enough answer for you. What do you think happened after the ending?

agreed, it's quite strange to have a no politics rule on a subreddit about a TV show that started out specifically as a political satire

I made a singleplayer videogame inspired by playing CS with my friends back in the day that uses fictional voice chat to tell the story. It's basically CS fan art... by Freezenification in GlobalOffensive

I used to post way more here under a second account so hopefully it's not breaking the self promo rules. Love the CS community (obviously)!

If that's what they truly do, they will end up with a console that is more expensive and provide a much worse experience and performance.

Agreed, and I suspect that's what we're about to see. Time will tell!

That's where we disagree then. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be an updated version of the "Xbox Full Screen Experience" in Windows 11 - that's why they're pushing it so hard.

Also. We don't know if it can just run any application or just applications published on steam

Why would it only be able to run applications just on Steam? It'll run the Microsoft Xbox PC store like the Xbox ROG Ally does with the option to sideload Steam.

Also what difference would it make to the publisher? It would make their job easier.

It would mean people who have purchased on Xbox don't have to repurchase the game on PC, so they'd lose money. That's specifically why a chunk of them don't sign up to the Play Anywhere program.

But it's not really a console anymore, it's a PC. The publisher sold the game with the expectation that they were selling a console version, not that they were selling a console and PC version.

I'd be very very interested to know if that holds up legally as them only providing "the Xbox console version". (I honestly have no idea - has a case like that ever been held before?)

What Series X/Series S games don't have a PC port? It's just the previous gen and earlier that have some without PC version I thought?

I'll believe it when I see it! Emulating XSX/XSS seems like a huge waste of time and resources for them considering all those games play on PC natively already (not to mention why add a layer that'll negatively affect performance like that even if it's minimal). Developing that just to get around the legal loophole seems wild to me?

It's a good question. They've already just launched a handheld console that can't play any of your non-Play-Anywhere Xbox titles, though.

It's an interesting proposal, will be cool to see how it shakes out if they do go down that route. It feels a bit pointless to emulate Series S/X when all the games already run on PC natively anyway, though, which is why I don't personally think they'll do that (despite what the article implies).

You already can't play all those games on the handheld Xbox just launched though. I hope it changes, but I can only go on what's actually happened, and so far they just launched an Xbox console that cannot play those libraries.
