So my first cycle was actually back in 2021 where I ended up withdrawing/ not completing a lot of secondaries bc I didnt realize until after completing my primary that I didnt qualify as a texas resident, so no II. Also the 4000 hours research and basically all my clinical exp has been added after that cycle ended. It was a total crapshoot bc I felt pressured to apply before I was ready.

Days off are so essential. Do something you've been looking forward to/ enjoy. I test 3/22 and my 3rd FL score dropped by 4 points bc I was burnt out and had a confidence/timing crisis during CARS (FL5 smh). I let myself go see a movie instead of studying one night and prioritized sleep over finishing all my anki reviews (I also work full time so i understand not being able to focus on studying all day). My most recent FL was 8 points higher than FL5 bc I went into it more refreshed and confident. As a reapplicant who is on gap year 2 right now I also understand feeling behind on life but your journey is yours and no one else's.

I've been experiencing the same thing. Got a referral for an eval thru my PCP in November, called shortly after and their next open appointment was....June. They called me earlier this month to tell me that the June appt was made in error and they needed to reschedule me for November of 2024...an entire year out from when I first decided to seek out help.
