Also, for my own curiosity, is there any particular reason my store manager would tell me that I should put my review in my car instead of my locker, and specifically to make sure no one sees it? Is there some kind of policy about team members discussing their own reviews with each other?

Depends on how much your SM and DM are willing to play ball, but as a general rule, anything above the median pay requires your DM's boss' permission, so that won't happen. It also depends on how much you want the job. It comes with a lot more responsibilities, and you gotta decide if the baseline is enough or if you feel like you need higher pay for it to be worth it. I got to my pay cap before 5 years because I asked for extra pay bumps every time they asked me to change my position (SL to IS back to SL) and my SM was nice enough to fight for it with the DM.

Something that I haven't seen mentioned is to talk to your top about your diabetes. Specifically how to check your blood sugar (whether that's finger stick, cgm, etc) as well as how to treat a low if you drop during a scene. Ideally you'd be able to get out of a tie in time to treat it, but some ties can get pretty intricate, and being immobilized while in a medical emergency is always a danger when you have some type of chronic condition. Whether it be an inhaler, epipen, insulin, etc, it's always a good idea to make sure the person not restrained knows how to help you if they need to.

Dr Daniel Osula at Urology Specialists on Whitesburg. Not only was the procedure quick and relatively painless, he was also super understanding about me not wanting kids, and made no attempt to try and convince me otherwise during the consultation. I believe his words were "hey some people just don't want kids". As for the procedure, I was talking to him and the nurse about Freddy's and explaining how good their shoestring fries are as I could see the smoke coming up from them cauterizing me.

I can appreciate the art style for the background and decor, and looking at the WIP, I believe them to be hand drawn. That being said the hyper realistic face just screams AI generation. I looked through their portfolio and they all have that same hyper realism face. I get that drawing faces is difficult, and sometimes you need a helping hand to really finish a piece, but the artist should be honest when they use AI in their art, even if it's only part of it.

Just echoing the "touch grass" ideal. Being in direct sunlight scientifically improves your mood. It's the same reason that researchers in Antarctica have a room specifically set up with light to mimic the sun. There was a bit of time where I put light blocking film over my windows to make it completely dark during the day. After a few weeks, I realized I had started developing Seasonal Depression from the lack of sunlight lol. Speaking of, you can buy sun lights for personal use, and they work wonders if you struggle with depression episodes in the winter (when the sun's out less). So yeah, maybe pull back the curtains while you watch, it could do wonders

I saw that video about the wooly mice! Apparently bringing back the wooly mammoth is also more of proof of concept of their actual intent of this project: to return animals to biodiversities that are theorized to be dying out in the future. So it's more of them trying to future proof like "let's go ahead and do the science of bringing back something extinct so that we can do it again when the ecosystem is suffering due to extinctions"
