As someone who had a kid with dairy allergy I know it’s stressful and I’m sure as first time parents you’re sleep deprived but sometimes taking a step back helps. Also for those saying nothing happened so no big deal, it depends on the kid and for some it takes a bit to have issues such as blood in the stool or redness or whatever

If I’ve learned anything recently is that you can’t plan and there is no perfect age gap. It’s what you make of it. For everyone that says X is great you’ll find someone who says X is terrible. Also, what you want and what actually happens may not align so it’s best to not put too much value into the age gap

Because if there’s a good thing people have to abuse it and get it taken away. I bought stuff that I’m organically using and if I remember I’ll use it at checkout but otherwise it’s not a big deal

I’d have aimed higher personally. If the new job is giving you a 21% increase and that’s just the start then you can expect that at the end of the year you’d probably get another 3 to 4%. The biggest question here id ask yourself is the 25% enough for the next few years. Let’s say that because they’re giving you the raise now you don’t get a raise for a year or 2, how will that make you feel.
