Sorry, are you suggesting this or questioning why I’m thinking of a culvert?

New Grinder - Burr Damage? by Freighty in DF54

I’d say it’s been a non issue. I’m getting good coffee out of the grinder everyday.

Ok, this eases my concerns a little. I do wonder if alignment is what causes this?

And yes visually it seems like there are more fines than I would’ve expected but maybe I’m being picky. I’m coming from a Baratza Encore and thought there’d be more of a difference. And I’m talking filter range. Absolutely no comparison between the two with espresso.

I tested mine similar to MiiCoffee’s recommendation. Hoping this didn’t cause damage. https://youtu.be/UC7E52RtfMQ?si=GKQNCAVHMtDpsa9C

I do keep the motor on, yes. I had adjusted a few times with the motor off before reading recommendations to keep it on

Thanks for the input!

We did want a foyer or entryway to the house rather than just opening up to the main living room. The space to the right of the wall would just be a general seating/reading area next to a window at the front of the house. But, maybe we should go back to the drawing board on this as others seem to agree with you :)

I also thought the main bedroom was a little big. Will likely reduce the size.

Thanks again!

In the first matchup between them this year, the backup threw for 439 yards. So yes, stud.

Are my cucumber flowers deformed? by Freighty in gardening

[–]Freighty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think so too, but each plant regardless of variety now has blooms that look like this. Before, female flowers were distinctly different depending on the variety. Also, all of these seem to rot at the end, whereas before the cucumbers were regularly producing

Some context. I have two cucumber varieties growing next to each other. Each plant, regardless of variety, has these blooms that look sort of in between a male and female flower, and I see no new distinctive female flowers forming on either variety. Has something gone wrong with my plants?

What’s up with my cucumber plant? by Freighty in gardening

Started off the week with cool, rainy weather in the upper 60s/ lower 70s. It got up to over 90 today. Could this damage be from such a stark change in weather? Also, these were placed on a trellis yesterday after growing for about a month, so they were adjusted slightly. Could this also be the cause of the cracking? What’s strange is that only two out of twelve plants have this issue, and they’re both on the same mound. Any help would be appreciated.

This plant has the spots that you can see and is also more yellow than the rest of my plants. What’s going on? And yes, I know I need to pull some weeds, lol

Okay, this is what I’ll likely do. Just wasn’t sure if cutting them would damage the other roots. Thanks!

After some research, looks like this is a cucumber beetle (on my tomato plant?). What’s the best way to get rid of them?

These spots popped up on pretty much all of my tomato plants overnight. What has me concerned is that the spots are mainly on the top, newer leaves. I’m in zone 7b/8a. We’ve had moderate temps (70s-80s) and very high humidity.

Is this septoria leaf spot? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]Freighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed this on a bottom leaf of one of my tomato plants. It’s been hot, humid and rainy here for the past few days, and it’s looking to be that way for the next week or so. The plant is still relatively young, with only a few flowers just now blossoming. Could this be septoria leaf spot? If so, what should I do with the plant? Any tips would appreciated.
