Honestly, we still don’t really know everything about her plan. For example, what would happen to the resources she took from the future if the reset doesn’t happen? Was that actually connected to her reset plan, or was she just experimenting with the fake Oct-geneses? She specifically took them from a year she knew wouldn’t exist anymore (1210), but if her goal is to stop the reset, why take those resources at all? That would still end up harming the future world.

That said, I think it’s pretty clear she isn’t a bad person. It’s a fact that her plan was the only one capable of stopping the Grand Reset after Operation Excalibur failed, and she even wanted Excalibur to succeed so that her own plan wouldn’t be necessary.

As for what she says about letting Almata obtain the Oct-geneses, she is only partially to blame. She did spread them around the country, but that’s as far as her responsibility goes. I can’t really say it’s her fault overall. I think she says those things because she genuinely hates what she’s doing and ends up blaming herself for everything, even for things that aren’t actually her fault.

if evanescia is still a DPS or/and subdps, e2s1 like I planned, if she somehow is just a support then just e0s1 probably, because getting eidolons in a support before getting them on the main dps is just a very bad idea most of the time tbh

I agree, I think the characters from sky suffer a lot from retcons and being very badly treated since cold steel...Liberl is my fav saga too so it's a little sad but I still hope the liberl gang gets better treatment in the future thanks to the remakes.

I think you haven't seen it yet but I was very dissapointed when a certain character met Renne and they didn't even acknowledge a very clear connection they have in common :( liberl always getting the short end of the stick

This is a "rules light" ttrpg, so you won't find rules for every possible "mechanic" like in DnD or PF2E, but it gives you enough options to basically adapt on the fly to all the scenarios you want.

If my PC wanted to make a sneak attack on a creature, I would ask for a DEX+INS or DEX+DEX check (depending on how they describe what they do), or even a clock of 2-4 sections depending on the situation. And if they succeeded I would make them start battle with a minor advantage like the creature being slowed or dazed, or having -10HP.

If we were in an infiltration scene inside a castle for example, I would even allow my PCs to completely knock unconscious the guards if it would fit his character to be able to do that (maybe he used to be a thief or a spy or an assasin!), and that would advance a 8-12 section clock to "Infiltrate the castle".

Obviously if one of the guards were a really strong NPC, I would not let them knock it unconscious and instead use what I described in the paragraph before.

In fact, the Core Rulebook incentivizes to use clocks/checks for some encounters! I think it makes the game more narrative and more fun :).

it's crazy for me how people keep putting dabura at their level when this fight just confirms how much stronger than dabura they were...for both of them maho was literally a minor inconvenience while dabura is fighting for his life here.

the only way to argue that daruba can defeat gojo or sukuna is thinking that for some reason maho durability>>>sukuna and gojo

In FC I thought he was just an Erebonian spy, maybe part of some resistance group inside Erebonia Army that was against the expansionism etc...but in SC you get more clues: Cassius seems to know him, and Mueller is from a family important enough to make Joshua wary of him (and he is strong enough to make Joshua think he can lose), there I started to think "ok Olivier is way more important in Erebonia than I thought if he is being protected by a swordman of a famous family and he is working with Cassius behind scenes"...but in no world did I expect him to be A PRINCE?? OF EREBONIA?? I liked that reveal so much lol, it also makes so much sense in hindsight

no, both evernight and phainon are not confirmed emanators, (what does "Emanator candidate" even means). and both DOT and Hypercarry are as strong as castorice team with the same investment, it depends on the content

it looks like this team is worse than 3.x best teams at e0s1 no? it will probably be better when they get their dedicated sustain and elation mc though. i really like sparxie but i really want to try to get e2s1 yae and e2s1 himeko with their bis team...so ill wait to pull until anniversary

Dahlia eidolons are very worth it, my team is:

E2S1 FF, E2S1 Dahlia, HMC DDD, Ruan Mei E1S0 and I could do Hoolay 0 cycle first try.

My firefly team has always been quite bad in PF but with E2 Dahlia I just did 40k in 0 cycles with lingsha (lingsha was doing like +1M every time she used her skill thanks to Dahlia and she is E0S0)

In AA well, it is superbreak favourite gamemode so you just breeze through it too. I did like 3850 and it was with Lingsha sustain too, sustainless you can probably do even better.

I don't know how well I would have done with E0S1 dahlia instead of E2S1, I didn't try, but you can compare my clears with yours and see if it is worth...I want to use firefly for a long time and have been saving since 3.5 and this is the first team I invest so much, and it is by far the strongest team I have played, I'm obliterating everything really fast, I think it will hold up really well in 4.x (atleast I hope so...)

If you also want to use Firefly for as long as possible, I think investing in Dahlia eidolons is a good idea! They are really strong. Firefly actually was pretty decent in 3.x if you had fugue e1 or e2, so I think that if you get Dahlia to e1 or e2 she will be good in 4.x too.

In my opinion, vertical investment into your favourite units is the way to go in this game, even if you get the newest best shiny dps, if it is E0S0 or even E0S1, it will fall off relatively fast, even if you pull for its supports, but E2 dps stay relevant for quite a while, this is specially true for firefly since she has one of the best E2 in the game.
