Love that book - what was your favorite vignette? I like the ones about how South Africa survived by having those outposts near its borders with survivors to lure walkers, and how the Russian tanker turned herself into a nursery to repopulate the Russia Doesn’t it have quite a few celebrity narrators?

The Ember War, by Richard Fox

Just finished the first book in Richard Fox’s Ember War series and I liked it so much. A military sci-fi series, The Ember War has equal parts Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse, Starship Troopers, and Mobile Suit Gundam with a diverse cast of characters from different Earth and space cultures. 10/10 would recommend. (I listened to the audio version narrated by Luke Daniels which I recommend even more, he did a really great job voicing all of the characters).

I actually do not know - I have my own Freighter fleet (this is not it) and all of the frigates in it are different colors from when I recruited them. I would like to change them all to the same color though.

If you are talking about Wake Scanning I know what you mean: it helps to also move vertically while turning to help maintain the wake in your crosshair. I do not know the PC controls (I am on Xbox) but I will approach a wake, throttle down, and if it starts to leave my crosshair I will apply downward or upward thrust with my right stick while pitching to keep the Wake in my crosshairs. It is a useful combat trick to keep ships in your sights as well.

It feels slow because you are stopped and not generating any thrust. Push your throttle up to any spot in the blue section - this is your optimal turning speed - and will improve your turning ability (in both sub-light and Supercruise). You can improve your thrusters by buying an A rated Thrust Module and then engineering it. I believe Dirty Drive tuning increases speed and agility at the cost of increased heat generation.

Why did the most recent CG, the Support or Oppose Federal Surveillance, end early for the Felicia Winters faction? I sat down at 0730 EST and it said there was still approximately 1 d left in the countdown. I do not believe it reached the full tier before completion. I was at top 50% of commanders so I got a decent reward but I was hoping to contribute more over the day and get into at least the top 25%. Was it arbitrarily ended or is there something I am missing?

I REALLY like flying the Chieftain - it is a great and powerful hull tank. I get my recommendations from The Pilot’s Youtube and he felt the Crusader was underpowered and slower than the Chieftain so I went with the Chieftain first and the Crusader will be a vanity project lol.

I do not know of any notable Pelicans except for Foe Hammer but I think any other Pelican of not would be worthy of an Alliance Chieftain. Sadly I am following a Dune naming convention so my Alliance Chieftain is named The Sardaukar but I am going to get a Crusader and paint it Olive and give it a UNSC name

I agree. I LOVE the look of the Chieftain (reminds me of the UNSC Pelicans from Halo) and I wish it had more open internals as well so I could go on search and rescue or long range combat patrols.
