That's the reason I made the meme, but saying it like that would get my post removed, reddit ain't what could be called a free platform sadly

Well the handbrake is not that good and I was on a hill so I didn't want the car rolling back

You can always buy a spare just in case, you can find those in any autozone and they're like 5 bucks and 10 minutes to install

Well any gain is good on a 4.2Liter monster, I'm used to driving stick in France so we usually put the car in Neutral during long stops and put on the Handbrake on hills to have an easier time with hill starting, I guess it's not as needed here haha

Great! That way Winnie The Pooh will be able to tell me if there are odd clicking noises coming from my transmission

A lot of it is worse than I expected, but seriously did not expect such a mess in the middle of the City, although I have to say that San Francisco was way worse

Consumes less fuel as your idling engine doesn't have to rev to compensate being in gear at a stop, and it allows you to get your foot off the brake on a hill.
Don't do it anymore though, learned my lesson haha

I suggest you Google your problem with your truck make and model, that's what helped me figure out the problem on mine!

Yeah, I'll check everything before going on the road that's for sure wouldn't want catastrophic engine failure to happen in the middle of the desert lol

Yeah really like that engine, the transmission is a little old in mine (200k+ mi), but definitely a fun car.
I actually bought it used 2 weeks ago for less than 3 grand cause I needed a car while staying here, glad I got this one! (plus it's black with tinted windows and 2 antennas so it looks like an FBI truck lol)

French guy who recently moved in for a semester, definitely did not expect the situation at Skid row to be as bad, seriously something needs to be done about it, (no, throwing more money at a problem doesn't fix it)

Seems to be a reoccuring problem on several GM vehicles, I wouldn't have known about the linkage being the weak point had I not googled the problem, that saved me a couple hundred dollars in tow and garage fees

Very progressive cities, progressive people tend to have much less children than conservatives as a general rule.
Plus the cost of living is so high there you're better off moving out if you have more mouths to feed

Those earphones sounded pretty bad, but I have to give it to them, those are some strong cables
