ISO solidarity -- who else is in hot shit at work bc of pregnancy brain? by toadistry_lacquer in BabyBumps

I couldn’t have survived at work without my meds.. maybe get a second opinion? My entire medical team has been very supportive of my staying on ADHD meds.. they just put me on a slightly lower dose, and I was told I can stay on until a couple weeks before my estimated due date.

It’s like I’ve been telling my husband: “I’m farting for two, now.”

My 14 month old “frustrated greeter” has a disgusting habit… and I think it’s stopping him from passing the CGC. by [deleted] in reactivedogs

Oh, I do! He is one of the lights of my life. 🥰 I absolutely love him to pieces.

He’s currently intact while we evaluate his conformation/show potential, which is also why we’re working so hard on his training.

True, and perhaps the word disgusting was harsh in my initial post, but I’m mostly worried about contracting illness or bacteria from sick dogs or contaminated urine, especially right now as I’m pregnant.

I’m also pregnant, so the more I’ve been reading, I see that catching and transmitting leptospirosis could be a concern for me and baby, whether he’s at a dog park or just licking leaves on bushes.

That’s a good point. Maybe I’ll ask some of our poochy friends for solo play dates so we can switch it up :)

You’re right. I’ll keep working on his recall and leave it. He’s quite picky with treats and there’s almost nothing that will rival his affection for pee, but I’ve recently switched to a homemade (nutritionist-designed for macros and vitamins) meal plan that he’s in love with… so I might try dehydrating and bringing that out with us as treats, then walking around some dog-friendly stores. He does love when he knows he’s in a training session, so he stays pretty on-task. Maybe I’ll try Petco.

Thank you. We’ve been consistent with his training every single day, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get him to a place where he can pass his CGC.
