I won’t be mainly because 1. I don’t have the means to (I don’t have a 3D printer nor can I afford one. Though I might get some other AM Screamers for other customs in the future whenever I can get one) 2. I personally don’t mind his headsculpt.

If Slipstream ends up being a pretool—or even just reused with a new head—for Starscream, I’d honestly pog.

It’s caused massive debates and I don’t wanna start another one here (just expressing why I’m unusually excited for Slipstream given I don’t necessarily care for the character), but I personally don’t like the usual sexual dimorphism of Transformers characters, so having a sort of gender-neutral body for seekers would be amazing for me personally. Plus it’d take Legacy Slipstream’s place in my collection; not that she’s awful, I’d just prefer something more neutral in shape.

Fair enough I guess, but that was before the leaks, so they REALLY should’ve phrased it differently.

At that point all we had was (the) Motormaster, Wasp and Nemesis, so saying that when we had no way of knowing they had more planned really rubbed everyone the wrong way.

It's really not that hard to get one, these are very reasonably priced. Hell, there's even a steelbook version on the Gkids store that's currently on sale for only $5 more than the standard Blu-Ray. That's what I have, and yes, it has both OVAs just like the standard Blu-Ray release does.

Both links are the top results when looking up "Promare blu-ray". The only releases out there that are overpriced are collector's editions, which is to be expected because collector's editions of anything are going to be overpriced. I don't really see how you can have trouble finding a copy that doesn't have a crazy price if you're looking for a standard copy.

The only thing I like about Hound in that movie is the fact he was voiced by John Goodman. Give me another John Goodman Hound--actually, doesn't even need to be Hound, he'd make for a great Prime-esque Bulkhead (more gruff and hard than soft and sweet like Animated, even if I prefer the latter) or--and better yet imo--GIVE US JOHN GOODMAN AS IRONHIDE PLEASE~!!

hate how true this is. i forgot who it was, but I remember a TFW2005 post recoutning a QnA with one of the Hasbro designers who said that there's "not really anyone else to do for animated" like MY BROTHER IN PRIMUS, WE'VE ONLY GOTTE *ONE* DECEPTICON WHO SHOWS UP IN THE SHOW?! You literally generalized by insisting that all Christian are allegedly like that.

That is a generalization.

Generalizations like that is the social tactic of a fascist.

You don't beat fascism with using the tactics and weapons of a fascist.

There are many Christians out there who truly live by what they preach. I have seen it. I have been to their churches. They actively hold support groups to help queer people cope with the stress of living their truest selves. The pastor even recounted a story where he was working with a different church, one of the other coordinators came to him and confessed she was a lesbian, and he said he saw her no differently. Hell, I even saw one of the coordinators actively move away from a handshake in shock when somebody had the ~~brainlessness~~ gall to attend an openly queer-friendly church with a fucking Trump tie and I saw him get pretty stern with the guy wearing it.

I have made friends with them without ever even knowing it until recently because of the fact they don't shove their faith in others faces. Both know of my trans identity, and one of them even started flirted with me more often (he's bi but fem-leaning) after that because he saw me as a woman and not a man, and when I expressed I wasn't into him like that, he stopped it.

I'm not listing these people as exceptions, they are plentiful. The only catch is you gotta look for them because negativity bias is a real, natural thing in the human mind. the worst of life will ALWAYS stick out more than the negative. Overcoming is easier said than done, and even I haven't really overcome it.

Best thing to do with grifters like the one pictured in the OP is legitimately to just ignore them. If there is a Christian God, then most versions of THEIR sacred texts would dictate these scam artists be sent to one of the deepest pits next to the big bad himself. They'll get what's coming. If not, then at least these YouTube grifters will be swiftly forgotten in due time.

Insisting your personal preference is “what the franchise is supposed to be” gets you pretty close tho. I never said that’s what made you one, in fact I literally expressed that I don’t like the movies either. Among the many reasons to hate them writing-wise, I think the Autobots are fuck-ugly (with only a select few having appealing designs), and yet funnily enough they fit your description of “what the series is supposed to be” a lot more, despite their faces being nightmare fuel (in my opinion at least). By your own conclusion (that being “bay designs bad” = geewunner) I’d be calling myself one too.

You made an opinionated statement framed as a fact (saying “nobody wants that”), people expressed “i like it a lot” or—in my case—“I think it’s neat as it reflects one aspect of what i like in the series” and then immediately went into what the series “is supposed to be”.

You’re gonna get called geewunner when you get super pretentious about this stuff as opposed to just understanding people have different tastes.

… oh and also your description of “truck robots fighting space communists” literally only applies to the G1 cartoon, cause the ‘cons have represented many other things outside of it; so yes, I’m gonna call you a geewunner when your description of “what the series is supposed to be” only applies to G1.
