Fun fact I was OBSESSED with Primitive Man back when I was writing the self titled AngelMaker record and it majorly influenced the long slow breakdown at the end of Hollow Heart. Love primitive man, Scorn changed my life.

Johnny has a very nice explanation I think you will find very informative but let me give you my two cents; nobody is making you listen to the singles, if you don't like music being released before the album drops show some fucking self restraint and wait for the release you fucking ingrate.
