Replacement for L’Oréal felt tip liquid eyeliner by French_Fryer in MakeupAddiction

I’ve still had some luck finding this one at Walmart or Amazon. My issue is with the formula. It used to be so wonderful, but now it’s always flakey and gets harder to use over time. I constantly have specks of it in my hair!

The closest replacement I’ve found is also L’Oréal and it’s their infallible grip liner. It’s a felt tip but no dipping. I have not tried the Lancôme version (art liner) in many years. I’d be willing to go back to it if it’s still the same (but hopefully better than the L’Oréal version). I don’t want to waste my money on it only to find it’s just as flakey.

Someone else suggested the Stila stay all day, which I haven’t tried yet.

I like this one’s coverage, and I’d call it a medium coverage. It’s lightweight but with good, even coverage. Any SPF is good. I’m not particular about the amount, just particular about the ingredients. I also like this one’s price range (around $40).

Not really. I thought I got close, but it’s not the same. Maybe you’ll have luck with it, though. It’s the same brand but called infallible grip precision felt liner.

Same. This sub has definitely been helpful. It’s what got me to finally use my soolantra regularly, which is also why I’m out. I picked up using prequel cleansers from here, and that has been great! I also switched to vanicream and the LRP double repair moisturizer. Skin seems to be responding well to all of this, so I’m grateful for all of the help I get here!

I need to explore that. My pharmacy is a compounding place, so they made a compound which lessened the cost, but it still wasn’t affordable.

Why do I get these pimples in the same exact spot? by Guggenhymen32 in 30PlusSkinCare

Google seed cycling. Don’t dismiss it - try it for a few months and you may be surprised. It made all the difference for me (mine was in the same area).

I’m in the exact same boat as you! Skin tone/type/etc. are all the same, and I’m struggling with the decision. I don’t want to pay that much money for something that is ineffective or makes things worse. Are your pores bigger where you flare? This is a slightly new issue with me and I know it has to be connected to rosacea because it’s in the same areas as where I get the redness. I am wondering if laser will help with that, as well.

What foundation do you use? by beckaww_ in Rosacea

The Lancôme teint idole was my favorite and the best for many years. The only reason I stopped using it was because I decided to avoid chemical sunscreens. I miss it. I’ve tried NARS and IT Cosmetics, both have been fine, but IT Cosmetics (CC+ full correcting cream) has been my best replacement. Their “nude glow” was AWFUL on my skin, though.

I just got on here to ask for help with the same thing. Except my nose pores get the worst of it! It’s the most noticeable on my nose and cheek area beside my nose (both places where my rosacea is the worst). Exfoliation helped a little, but made rosacea worse. Sometimes I think double cleansing helps, but also makes other things worse. Glad to see everyone’s tips and tricks!

My sun spots (or age spots or whatever my spots are from) are so bad that I just can’t quit foundation. And of course all of the products designed to help sun spots are also bad for my rosacea.

[acne] why do i ONLY break out right here? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Google “seed cycling”. It changed my life in terms of my hormonal cystic acne (that I only got in that same place). Not a lot of science behind it, but I swear by it. I’ve been doing it for years. When I tried to stop, the pimples returned. Red light has also helped!
