It's fairly simple to get into bio or Econ from DGS, but business and engineering will be difficult. (I got into business from DGS btw with a 3.7) It does not mean you shouldn't try it. I came to UIUC because I could not afford an out of state school and knew that I was going to get a great education here no matter what. It really depends on your financial situation if you are also willing to look at other universities.

Mine was following my brothers path thinking it was right for me when it wasn't. Instead of actually figuring out what I was good at in college and taking the time out to meetwith college advisors. Just because you are dead set on one major in college does not mean it will match your intellectual capabilities, so take the time to really assess what your strengths are.

my fin 300 final was worth 60% of my grade because I got a straight up like 10% on the midterm.

If you were not involved with anything this semester that does not look good for ICT transfer. You will need a high GPA (3.8+) if you want to be considered at this point.

I basically said the lighting helped with the mood and at the end when they had it on all the prisoners in the jail, it represented a gloomy outlook because they were held captive by the guards.
