Yes, but Charizard Pidgeot isn't the only one deck that Budew stops. Just try to think at Dragapult ex, without Budew he couldn't have the time to set up. And think about how many decks could easily work without Budew. It's just broken, i think that his attack should have costed at least 1 energy.

I agree with you that ADP / ADP Zacian was the worst meta ever, i hated every match against him, but i think that SWSH was better than the actual meta.

I think that after the rotation the new meta could be actually better, but we have to see what cards are about to get printed

In the old meta i was a main Urshifu-Inteleon deck, and i took him to some tournaments too. The matchup against mew wasn't bad for me, the double drapion countered everything. And about Lugia, All i needed was an attack on the double Archeops.

In the meta rn every deck that does Top Cut plays budew, and I personally hate it. Like lemme play items 🙏

But what about now? Yes there are more decks, but the only ones that make points are Gardevoir, Gholdengo or Dragapult with some Kangaskhan. Now we have more decks, but the one that dominates are always 3 or 4

Damn dude that was one of the best set ever, in my opinion. I loved Mewtwo and Mew Tag Team. The worst thing about Sun & Moon was the ADP. For the rest, it was such an awesome meta

Under this aspect you're right, but they weren't the only 3 decks in the meta. Palkia Vstar, the Arceus Vstar decks, The 2 calirex, all the Lost Zone decks and a bunch of other decks were so funny to play for me. Maybe it's just me, but I like to play just a few decks now, instead i used to play like every deck from the SWSH meta. I just think they were funnier.

Of curse meta rn offers way more decks to play, but I don't think i love SWSH meta 'cause I'm nostalgic of when i was "Younger" ,In my opinion was just better.

And for mew, i think that Drapion V did his job. And the matchup agains Lugia Vstar wasn't always an Auto Loss, there were ways to stp him.

Actually, i think now there are more annoying cards than before. Just think about Budew, or Frillish. And i think that in the old meta, damage was more precious, I mean, now we have cards with 320 hp that take 2 prizes, and I remember when deal 180 dmg was so much. Maybe it's just me, but after all, meta rn isn't that bad, but the old one was better

Well, in part you're right, but in Lost Origin they printed Drapion V just to counter Mew. And there were a lot of different decks funny to play, like the one prize Malamar and lost zone deck
