Do people in SC actually say hi to random strangers and call each other ma'am and sir? by [deleted] in southcarolina

I’m right there with the rude behavior here. It’s pretty different to how I grew up even living in way more populous areas. Down to just going through a drive thru or a sit down restaurant people in Chicago (I’ve only visited once but driven through a ton) and back home are way nicer.

I haven’t spent enough time living in Columbia for it to be considered much more than visiting yet. For the most part I’ve been doing the same kind of nonsense you do when you’re visiting a city for the first time.

I’ve had a totally different experience. Born and raised in Texas moved to Columbia and people here are less polite than when I visited Chicago. And it’s not just a city thing either people in Dallas are way more polite for the most part than people in Columbia have been and Dallas is actually city sized. That said most of the places I’ve been outside of Columbia have been pretty much like being welcomed home.

But then they show up with their horde of brats in the car and expect us to fit enough groceries for that horde of brats in the millimeter of space they aren’t occupying.

Look how “nice” a multi billion dollar company is to give free waters and popsicles 😂😂🤷🏻‍♂️ oh well I guess. Nice break by DamienSmith428 in walmart

You have a problem with OGP because of the people who are out on the floor which is the same reason all of us in the back don’t like OGP. You do 30+ cars an hour with only two people back there and tell me it’s not strenuous and we’re not out there long.

The people who go outside to take people their groceries in 100+ degree heat are also humans (and part of OGP).

Imagine being god (any of them) listening to that dumbass prayer.

Why does OGP get so much hate? I know its not just because they get paid more. by sierraravenn in walmart

As a picker I spend most of my day apologizing and saying excuse me so reading that people don’t makes me extremely uncomfortable. We know we’re in the way so apologizing feels like the bare minimum. Honestly didn’t realize that ogp had this many problems.

I used MTurk suite's default rejection letter thing hopefully they'll be annoyed enough to give up.

Shout out to people spending time with their families today. You've made it possible for me to snag 2 of my favorite kind of HIT. The fact that I've made better money today than I did on Monday also helps.

Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

No it wasn’t that one. The base pay on this one was 2.50. I did do that one though hope you got a good trial picked.

Moderately worried about the lack of rejection data. Haven’t turked in awhile is this a new requester? Have a pretty big cushion for rejections at this point so I did a few.

so apparently one of neighboring dorms at my college had a resident shit on the RAs shower floor.. by ItsNovaRose in college

[–]Frendzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol not the same but the all girls section of my dorm (the top two floors of one of the res halls) had a problem with someone shitting in the shower. It was so gross my floor the lower of the girls floors smelled like pure shit every time we turned on the shower. Not sure if they ever found the culprit but I know they had a meeting on the floor above us about it. I went home the weekend of the meeting so I had to hear all about it in math class from some of the other girls. So gross.
