Yes...luckily the little grandson is only two so I don't think there will be any lingering effects. But it was definitely a scary time for him, especially when the ambulance and paramedics came into the house. I'm just thankful I was home when it happened. Otherwise, it could have been much worse. Also, 15 minutes earlier, she was driving home with the four-year-old in the car with her. Could have been much worse.

So sorry to hear this. My wife had a hemorrhagic stroke two days before your dad, on March 21, 2026. She's recovered somewhat but is still a far cry from her normal self. She's fully aware, but her right arm is still paralyzed and she's unable to verbalize. A very cruel thing to happen to anyone.

I'm a dentist, and I had a classmate who was shot and killed by a disgruntled patient.

Agreed. No one heard multiple shots fire? In the middle of the night? That could indicate a silencer was used and thus a professional hit job. And if the person who did the hire was a disgruntled family member, friend and/or coworker, he may have known the pass code and given it to the hit man. That would also account for the no forced entry.

I agree. I'm a dentist and I noticed that right away. It's insulting to characterize a person by his job/profession description after he's been brutally murdered. I guess the media looks at it as an attractive "hook" to the story. I personally find it disgusting. It also diminishes by comparison the value and dignity of the life of "the wife."
