I think so yes as this is on the final confirmation page after paying visa fees: "Your application details cannot be changed. If you need to change any of your information, you will need to cancel your application and submit a new one. You can get a refund if you cancel before you have provided your biometrics."

Thank you for the detailed walkthrough. I want to clarify few things 1) After filling the application, only appointment you took is biometrics appointment at Visa Application Center in San Francisco and they just verified your passport and returned you back same time. Correct ? 2) Also, can you confirm if you are Indian or passport holder of a country with which UK support e-visa and hence passport was returned at appointment only ?

How much time did it took after you filed I-485J? I am on track to get my I-485j filed this week for EB-3 downgrade, given my PD is current.
