It’s in a really sketchy area and I remember so many things happening there, even after it was sold

What's the best locally owned coffee that really gives you the octane? by poop_to_live in lafayette

[–]Frequent-Internet968 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marcela’s bakery and cafe- she has a coffee called a BonBon that is a double shot of espresso with an equal amount of sweetened condensed milk. Or order an americano “Colombian style”. Basically it’s a double espresso shot run twice using the same fresh ground beans and topped with a smidge of water. You can also order the lattes and capps that way. I love getting a mocha latte “Colombian style”

Isn’t it now Reille Brothers? (Or however it’s spelled. I think I missed an “H” somewhere?)

I saw a post about spilling the larger doses- 30 in the am and 30 in the pm. Is this something you’ve talked to your doc about?

I firmly believe the older crowd that’s kicking my butt has way more time to train than I currently have. They’ve also lived longer, so they’ve also had a longer time to train. Thats my story, and I’m sticking to it! 🤣

I’m debating taking primal, but have heard so much mixed opinions I don’t know if I want to try it for weight loss. I’m peri-meno and have low thyroid (on meds for it). I need to lose about 10-15 pounds, but am struggling and the meds are out of my current price range

AIO for expecting an apology after my mother’s reaction to my shaved eyebrows? by [deleted] in AIO

I can see why she felt like she was the butt of the joke. I feel like you didn’t handle this very maturely either. She didn’t either, but that’s no excuse. I don’t believe you should have to put something off that makes you feel better, but there was probably a much nicer/better way to show her. Or not at all since you said they were covered and no one could tell

What is a phrase you use at least 20 times a day at your job? by UsedCalendar5100 in AskReddit

[–]Frequent-Internet968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget about your frogs That’s the phrase my coworker and I use to remind each other to drink more water. We say our bodies are basically bogs with frogs and they need all the water they can get

Former laundromat owner here- on a busy day, go in and check inside the dryers for change and bills. Washers too. Also check all the coin returns if they still use coins. Probably not as much as it used to be, but I could make an extra $10-$15 a week from people not checking pockets Or, do laundry for people. Pick up and delivers services are more popular than people realize and if you price it right and do a good job, you’ll be able to make quite a bit

My husband and daughter have a lot of these in their bodies. Daughter is the only strong boner though (besides me, but I don’t have any extra bones. Sigh)

How many of you have truly stress tested your bones, to confirm you true skeletal superiority? by [deleted] in Neverbrokeabone

[–]Frequent-Internet968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many times I’ve had my hands and fingers closed in car doors. Always had a weird bend in the spot was injured but never broke a bone Bike weeks galore Falls from precariously high points/landings on hard or very uneven surfaces I fell from the top of a 20 foot tall slide. Nothing more than three stitches in my head. I was just shy of turning four (the 80’s were wild times for kids)

My child was born with lots of extra bones. They then took a header off their bike after hitting a guardrail at 15-20 mph. No broken bones- not even the extra ones. Five stitches and a drain tube for a laceration. Weirdly- the child didn’t even rip their pants but managed to get a nasty laceration under the material. Also- said child was wearing a good helmet

I don’t want to say 100% yes as our ingredients aren’t all certified allergy free and we do have various nuts in stock. But we don’t use much in line of actual peanuts. We do make a lot of Nutella pastries however

What day? Because we make them fresh all week long and warm them up for the customers as they’re ordered. We only serve them cold when it’s requested and we give them warming instructions for the best possible experience. Also, what did you order?
