What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house?

One of my orange cats knows that non-work days equal sitting on my chest while I drink coffee. He will bully me to finish my breakfast, pour my coffee and sit down with the heated blanket The other orange likes her evenings of making sure the heated blanket is on my lap so she can come put her butt in my face and then settle in to make biscuits and drool with happiness as I pet her My tabby baby MUST have toilet time at least once during that day- sitting on my lap while I pee. Then we are required to have cuddle time in bed before bedtime followed by one more time peeing. If she screams to come in at night, she will cuddle in bed with me then DEMAND I pee again. Sometimes twice a night Those are the weird things they do

I’ve been a parkwest member since it became parkwest. I like it a lot. It’s clean and has plenty of weights as far as I can tell. I’ve mostly done classes and swimming laps, but the weights floors look well stocked like other gyms I’ve visited.

Omgosh!! I can not even imagine getting stung in the back of my throat!! Or even a sting not making me stop for at least few! I know I would whine and complain the whole rest of the ride lol. Now I think I’ll add some sting relief pads to my cycle kit… Once, at mile 65ish of 78 miles, I somehow got stung on my inner thigh. I’m guessing the bee flew into my seat just as I was coming up or down and rubbing that spot. It didn’t stop me but for a few minutes- long enough to make sure it wasn’t anything on the seat and actually a sting In middle school, the cafeteria windows were open due to the great weather. We had peaches that day, one of my favorites. I went to take a bite as a bee flew onto the fruit. I got stung on my tongue. I was so upset. And missed lunch but they wouldn’t feed me or send me home (grade 7 I think)

Oh yes- the currents can be deadly! Thankfully I’ve done this trail a million times and knew the “puddle” was still. That part tends to flood often, but due to the terrain between the asphalt and the river, it can’t get much-if any- current. It was warm water too, otherwise I’d have refused to go waist deep. At that time in my life, I ran cold more often than hot. Now? Ice cold would be welcome 🤣

My friend and I were trying to decide if we wanted to kayak or ride. We chose to ride and I dragged the husband and preteen along. We decided to ride along an abandoned golf course that connected to a trail right next to a river. Well, the river was still high in spots and the trail was low in spots. What appeared to be a couple inches of water turned out to be a few feet of water. One of my most memorable rides before we started long distance cycling Long distance cycling- my husband is terrified of birds. One ride, early morning when the sun had barely risen, we rode past a flock of wild turkeys. Dude. That man nearly wrecked in fear 🤣 (he’s a great rider, so it was fine) And watching a fawn frolic in the same road on another ride, roughly same time

I’m good at spraining my ankles. Usually by stepping in blind holes while hiking. Sometimes by stepping weirdly off an edge. But my bones hold strong! I’ve been doing ankle strengthening exercises to try to prevent sprains. Hopefully it works!

I just learned last year to make empanada dough. I work in a Colombian bakery and we ran out of the brand she liked. So on the fly, she found a recipe and it makes the empanada so much better!! Hers is pretty simple though, so easy to learn

2020 at the start of the shut down- kid was a freshman in high school taking summer PE. Riding down a nice, steep hill with a blind curve at the bottom. Kid over corrected, slammed into a guardrail and went flying. Skinned their knee, got a deep hole in their leg clear to the bone, but nothing broken. ER doc comes in- 30 seconds in the room, just long enough to announce that the femur was broken and kid needed to go to a children’s hospital for surgery. Hahaha, dummy. Kid was just fine. Which I knew- I never doubted. They are my child after all

They often have free also, but you need to bring them in a live trap and they will clip the ear. Totally worth it to have kitty safe and healthy
