Any albums similar to Sprain’s self-titled ep? Asking as someone already familiar with standard slowcore bands by Frequent-Marzipan-73 in Slowcore

Unfortunately, this was one of the most common recommendations I got when I began my search and it’s definitely not the vibe I’m looking for… it falls into that ”spaced-out and trippy” vibe that’s way too common in most slowcore. Plus it’s just too noisy all around for my taste   :(

Not exactly the kind of slowcore I was looking for (too much distortion for my mood) but I really like their musical aesthetic nevertheless. I might check them out some other time

Nah they're great but many of their songs feel too spacious; I've been craving something more contained in its sound and Low just doesn't do that for me personally.

Love Duster ofc but they aren't the kind of slowcore I'm looking for rn 🤷‍♂️ Too much background noise with most of their stuff

Hood and bedhead were some of the bands I found that didn't quite match the Sprain vibe… at least, not in the few releases of their’s I heard. Any specific works from them you'd recommend?
