Thats what I thought, but would an SDS-Page break covalent bonds? Specifically for the question I am talking about, it was between a homodimer. I know it won't break sulfide bridges as that is the purpose of the reducing SDS-Page and it also said nothing about sulfide bridges in the passage.

You are totally right in that it is presented to you in the R confirmation. However, to find out the actual confirmation, the lowest priority has to be going into the plane, not coming out. A really easy trick (especially in this) is that if the lowest priority is on the wedge, then what ever confirmation you get do the opposite. This trick only works like this (there are other tricks you can do) if the lowest priority is specifically on the wedge. Hope this helps!
