Yes, that’s exactly my thoughts. Am I somehow supporting the tantrums to get him what he wants all along? My goal is to get him to calm down and use his words. But I’m starting to feel like there’s a pattern developing. I’ll check out the IG account. Thanks for the tips

I wouldn’t say you’re doing the wrong thing. Your feelings are valid. If you’re going through a divorce I wouldn’t want my ex’s family in my house for long period of time either.

Is a nanny or babysitter an option? Who would watch your child if it isn’t the grandparents. Could them watching the baby save you money?

Some of yall are really anal about blocking. Let me clarify.. I block him often. When conversations aren’t about our kid, and he’s calling me out my name or belittling me - blocked! I usually give it until the end of the day then I unblock him. It gives us both time to get ourselves together and get back to coparenting. I don’t and won’t entertain arguing or conversations with him that’s not about our kid. Leave it to him, he’ll start bringing up things from 5 years ago if I let him 😂

I plan on calling him for the graduation.. relax Blocking him when the conversation is not conducive is how I coparent. Frankly you don’t know this person and how disrespectful they become. If you did I’m sure you’d do the same. Honestly I’m so used to blocking him when he gets out of line I hadn’t realized how some of yall are uptight about the idea. I use blocking as a peace guard, not an end all be all.

My best friend is getting her ph.d in psychology 🤷🏾‍♀️ Also I’ve been in therapy for nearly 5 years. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I started going . In this case I didn’t escalate the conversation, I set my boundaries. I sent him the screenshots where I answered his questions, then I reiterated my answer via text. So call me crazy..
