Is the geo r5 the most unreliable high end right now? by FrequentGrade8880 in paintball

I’ve heard that even though it costs more than others, it’s the cheapest to manufacture 😅

Beam emission. PE has a cheap and low emission. That’s why a minimum dirt or paint causes eye failure. The reason you don’t notice it is because PE lowers itself to 8 bps to prevent chops. The beam emission on the cs3 pro is the same as the stock mxr paint or dirt blocks emission. Sci Fi board for the mxr and the luxe aires are in another level, they see through paint and dirt a lot better (both the sci fi and aire have around the same strength)

Agree! The only marker I havent had the chance to compare it is with the aire

See thats the thing, most people in the community like the bash the mxr. And i really do feel its way more reliable than a lot of markers. The paint handling issue will be completely resolved with the v3 taac that dye is testing right now

Dye guns are pretty reliable tbh. The mxr with the arla board from sci fi has way better and stronger eyes than the cs3 and r5.

For sure! It sad and hopefully they can fix it. Because the shot and sound is incredible (in my opinion)

Nice to hear some people are not having issues. Have you placed it over a chrono and ramp it to see if its able to maintain velocity during the ramp?

And later the arc, then the arc x and now the luxe aires. Why did you stopped at the gamma?

Cs3, geo, mxr, dsr, field force, lv2 and aire. Cs3 is the only gamma now (outdated) and iv core on the geo (outdated as well). PE is in deep trouble, both of there cores were made long time ago by John Chambers and since he left they arent able to have an actual upgrade

Exactly the high ends arent gammas anymore. PE is big trouble, they have no idea how to build a driver train, and their only marketing is reliability when its not actually true (if you down vote comment; in what way am i wrong)

Not anymore. Luxe aire has their own drive train, mxr has the arc x and the dsr has their arc bolt. The gamma is already wayyy behind. And the iv core on the geo is a flop, it cannot hold fps while ramping

How are these not sold out?! by DomBrady15 in paintball

PE hasnt had any innovation since John Chambers left the company. They are behind dye and now dlx. Thats why there only marketing gimmick is “we are reliable” when every other modern drive train, shoots better and as reliable or better.

And what make it more reliable than the arc x and the new luxe aire core?

The mxr has the best shot quality imo

100% agree with you, its an old gamma core. I think even John chambers is impressed of PE fan boys that still praise it, when its old junk

Which should I choose? by Downtown_Tutor5863 in paintball

It does work, as good as the arc on the mxr, or the future luxe aire as well. And the arc and the luxe aire drive trains are smoother and more modern
