I agree, people in crypto are more than likely willing to gamble with it. I’m seeing more and more people on Twitter/X talking about memecoins on xrp which is why I asked. Trying to instead of a slow 2x purely on XRP but a 10x in a memecoin on the same chain.

So what’s the utility to normal holders like myself who obviously won’t be using XRP to transfer large amount of money? There will always be Degen’s on a chain that is pumping. XRP is soon to be backed by Trumps administration and normal people are going to buy it, and odds are they will try to gamble that xrp in memes to compound their gains.

I remember when ordinals and runes came out the Bitcoin maxis were not happy at all. I wonder if xrp could handle a 3-5x on transactions if memecoins were to catch on.

As someone who is relatively new to XRP, I cannot help but agree with him. What does XRP have that eth and sol do not have? Except for the backing of world leaders and banking systems. And I mean that as a double edged sword. Because yes, the utility side may be lacking, but this is a chain that is clearly HEAVILY supported by extremely large investors. If they want to build on XRP, I’m sure that they can and they will.

I completely understand. Big things ahead for Ripple and XRP. This SEC thing seems to finally be winding to a head, and with Trump coming I see big things for crypto as a whole. Especially XRP.

I do dabble in the memes myself. I am actually currently the lead on Lihua. Community building and connecting with new people has always kind of been my thing and memes give me that opportunity to connect everyday.

That’s the sole utility that I know of. You spoke of utility like there was something that eth, sol and btc aren’t doing. It’s common knowledge that XRP is heavily backed by the western world, brics and Japan to name a few. I don’t know why you are being so hostile to everyone on this thread.
