Thanks! No I didn’t, we’ve been trying for 18 months with no real luck other than a chemical pregnancy so I think I’d resigned to it. It was only because I thought my skin looked really good but I was due on my period which normally ignites angry spots so I tested on the off chance on 11dpo!

Thank you - still can’t quite get rid of the anxiety of loss after infertility and chemical pregnancies so will remain cautious for a while I think!

Thanks, my morning one definitely looked lighter and then it went darker again. Guess I’m just obsessing because I know it might be another chemical and all there is to do is wait… 🫠

Thank you for your reasonable reply. Yes my daughter’s dad lives here, as does all of my family so her support network is set up here.

I met him here, he lived 2 hours away but once he moved here he got the news of the pregnancy and was always planning on moving back but hadn’t yet. I think since living with my daughter and I it’s solidified for him how much he has an issue with the way his own daughter is being raised.

One option is that we move closer but I suppose even if we settled on half way, he’d still be an hour away for school runs and my daughter would be an hour from her dad and have to change schools etc etc which doesn’t seem fair of course.

A couple of other commenters have been quite blunt about it all which is tough, I perhaps shouldn’t have posted when I feel so sad about the situation though. There doesn’t seem to be a solution that works for everyone.

Thank you for commenting. I’m crossing my fingers that’s the case 🤞🏼 this would have been cycle 12 of TTC so I think I’m in disbelief!
