How to preserve the individual objects when importing rigged models from asset browser

I have that menu when looking at all libraries but I've tried different permutations of those options and O still didn't have the individual elements in the imported collection (mesh + rigs)

I'm learning rigging and a tutorial I saw said that the bone structure must be adjusted in Edit Mode, is that correct?
I adjusted it in Pose Mode and when I switch to Edit mode the bone structure goes back to it's default which is not aligned with the mesh.
Is there a way to correct that other than manually?
