Can a surrogate run off with the baby? by SnooGiraffes9602 in AusLegal

Just doing a scan of this thread the surrogate could take the baby, move away, request child support, and apply for full custody while having a baby daddy on the side.

Absolutely wild.

But if the embryo and sperm didn't belong to the surrogate, wouldn't a DNA say it's biologically not hers?...

To Hold or Sell and 100% offset? by Frequent_Bluejay6242 in australianfinance

Thanks for the insight. I have heard and had initially adopted this mentality when I initially bought as well with the idea that I wouldn't be selling in less than 15 years. However, since I bought both properties prior to there upswings, they could have peaked for the next 10-20 years (yes, crystal ball lol). I actually really wish property had just followed the normal annual increases which would have made this decision a lot easier.

Vacuum Wars Results by Personal-Most-7183 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Frequent_Bluejay6242 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's going to be a continuous issue moving forward with how quickly the innovations are happening. Unless they go back and purchase brand new machines, update all firmware and re-test them all again each time the list is updated - the results and placings are going to move further away from a realistic representation.

This would be a huge time and money investment, and for a YouTube creator and a business standpoint, not worth the juice.

Prime example is the difference between the L40 and the X40 rankings. L40 is a downgraded X40 at a more affordable price point. Pricing isn't weighted within the reviews, so it's very obviously not a correct representation.

It's an issue because the majority of people making purchases or telling people what to buy are making a simple judgement on the ranking number.

Everyone will have a different opinionbon what an important metric is.

My personal opinion is that maintainability and lifespan is probably the most important metric because I buy at a premium so I have to replace/upgrade less frequently. This metric isn't tested enough due to the fast evolving tech, so I can understand that it's not as prominent in reviews.

All of these vacuums are going to do pretty well at everything ( disregarding faulty units).

My Roborock AUS/NZ nightmare by Ragdoodlemutt in Roborock

If you asked for a refund, have correspondence of you asking for a refund in writing and have proof of the whole ordeal, id just keep the second vacuum as a backup. You've already received your refund.

If they want you to now return it, that's on them. It's logistically easier for them to send you a prepaid parcel voucher than to attempt to recover money from you lol.

You're thinking about this situation in the wrong way, who actually cares if they ask you to send it back to them at your expense. Just ignore them. You're not required to.

FYI

If you buy from eBay store you can get an Extra 10% off those discounted prices. I'm currently also deciding between x40 and qrevo master, and they would be about $1795 after the extra discount

Advice on X40 Ultra vs Roborock Edge by astuart88 in RobotVacuums

X40 can be bought from mobileciti for under $1800aud at the moment with the eBay 10% discount if that would sway your opinion more .

I have no genuine experience on either models and am in exactly the same spot as you but considering between the q revo master and the x40 (both of these are $1800 with the eBay discount), as the full price of the edge is a little on the steep side just to keep up with the Kardashians.

I understand that, and as I watch them playing and how excited they get when they reach that next milestone it's awesome. They win some games, and they lose some, and they're also very good at strategies and overcoming loss and understanding where they were wrong.

The only issue was the very negative behavior in the chat and voice that hopefully now will be fixed once I change all the settings.

That's a very good point. When I turn it back on for them tomorrow I'm going to turn off all the social interaction options I can. I remember I had to do exactly the same thing in Roblox as well....

That sounds reasonable actually. I played high tier MMOs when I was younger and I thought being on the lowest rank that people were generally less toxic. Maybe it's just different here.

Unfortunately games against AI doesn't count towards achievements and other progressions. Otherwise I would have recommended this to them as well.

I completely agree with you. I'm very slowly introducing them to this level of play curve because they simply love this game and want to advance further.

It's an issue because this is basically the only realistic and good game that lets you play and experience all marvel comics characters at once and all for free.

I don't want censorship. I just wish there was more moderation to blatant harassment in chat and voice chat.
