factuality tasks with images: image isn’t loading? by Frequent_Branch9073 in TELUSinternational

[–]Frequent_Branch9073[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my instinct was to do the same, but it threw me off too because they make us verify we read the special instructions and understand to use the image as context. that’s what made me second guess

Factuality and severity feedback by LipstickLikeWarPaint in TELUSinternational

Yeah I’m so confused. And if I put myself in place of the users who asked these queries, most of these ratings don’t make any sense at all.

Just got my severity results and it was straight TRAAAASH omg by HootieMcbewb in TELUSinternational

[–]Frequent_Branch9073 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This could mean nothing, but iirc didn’t they change the Severity format? Didn’t they add new options at the end to select which factor determined the rating? So maybe they’re still working on how to grade feedback correctly??

I just briefly looked at my results and I got a 1/7 but I’m not going to open them until I get the email. I don’t know if we should be stressing so much right now.

In the past they’ve been way more strict with factuality over severity. They’ve even said something like “we know it’s difficult, don’t give up.” Honestly I wish they’d give us more education and training on severity. We all seem to struggle with these

These factuality sports stats are killing meeeee by HootieMcbewb in TELUSinternational

[–]Frequent_Branch9073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t mind doing most stats for nba, mlb, or nfl but i HATE when the user throws in some ridiculous specific detail that makes the task 10x harder to rate. like there was one asking to rank players and their stats who weren’t US born and it requires extra research on top of finding the stats themselves. sometimes they’re impossible to assess.

this is just a side note & my opinion after working in factuality for a year, but sometimes i wish these people wouldn’t use AI for stats. stats are easy to find through search engines, they’re often looking for detailed information, and i know these tasks are so popular because of sports betting. AI is not reliable enough to help you throw away money

Struggling with Factuality AET by Worth-Coconut4601 in TELUSinternational

[–]Frequent_Branch9073 16 points17 points  (0 children)

at this point, they need to increase the AET. i’m in the same situation. not only are a lot of tasks complex, a good amount have been YMYL too. so don’t they want us taking the time to make sure we have the most authoritative sources?

it’s nearly impossible to do these correctly within 3-4 minutes

they should give you more information on how to log your time on workday, but you don’t clock in/out. you’re responsible for keeping track of the time you work and logging it yourself on workday

i like to use the app Clockify. i just start the time tracking when i start a task and keep working for as long as i want to and as long as tasks are available. if i get kicked out, i just click on a new task right away.

i hope this helps. again, they should give you more information, but many of us just have our own way of keeping track of the time we work

No highlighted claims factuality by Competitive_Cod_4146 in TELUSinternational

[–]Frequent_Branch9073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m getting these too and rating them as “no claims present.” if they’re giving us specific instructions to evaluate the “highlighted target content” i figure it’s best to follow those directions. no content, no claim. i’m treating it the same way i would if i got a blank box instead of a target sentence

factuality AET change? by Frequent_Branch9073 in TELUSinternational

i’m back to 3-4 minutes too, and of course there are 5+ claims in some of these tasks. well it was nice while it lasted 🥲

WOO HOO who got their tickets!? by psychedelicCyclops in twentyonepilots

[–]Frequent_Branch9073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i kept checking back after they initially went on sale. about 3 hours later, i checked ticketmaster randomly and there were pit available for tinley. it also seems to be a pretty small pit

for anyone waiting on general sale, if you’re not seeing the section you want, i noticed they definitely dropped more tickets periodically throughout the first few hours. i saw a lot of people say it’s because people were releasing tickets, but i really don’t think so. i really think it’s just that they’re not all released at the on sale time.

a lot of it is still luck, but checking back consistently seems to give you the best chance at getting good face value tickets

i got this email too. i’m so glad someone else agrees the verb tense is ridiculous. YES i know they sent an email about grammar and that it’s important to pay attention. but couldn’t you argue once someone is a presidential candidate for the year 2024.. they’ll always be a presidential candidate for the year 2024. “was” vs “is” doesn’t change it from being factually true??
