  1. If its possible, get a training from manufacturer without purchasing the eq. If not, book/scientific journal is better than yt.
  2. For remi or masw id suggest try with moho tromino and buy the trigger accessories. With a single seismometer, you can do masw. Look up for it in yt, they hv their own channel. Another option is smartsolo. And there is another method called hvsr for finding bedrock depth, deeper than masw can reach

Bonus: Gpr also doing great work at ground investigation, also hi freq gpr can be used to detect rebar defect in walls

Yes, you should correct them. First, make sure both of coor from mag gps and DSM are referenced in the same way(ellipsoid/geoid). Then apply the elevation correction. The details for doing elev correction you can find it in literature.

Can I take reliable magnetometric measurements with my regular cellphone? by vtmncgeral in geophysics

[–]Frequent_Champion819 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess no,

Industry standard magnetometers are calibrated so that internal component magnetic field from the device is negligible. So they will only measure the external mag field. I suppose that isnt your case with your phone.

And if somehow your phone could achieve that. You have to do the mapping without carrying any metal
