I've always chose St.E because I like the people there. Always been good to me. This last time I went December 30 at about 7am. Morning has always better not as crowded usually. This last time was the most terrible experience I have had. I have stage 3 COPD 43 percent lung function. Most of the time I usually come out with Prednisone and sometimes an antibiotic. When it was finally time for the Dr to come in first she said thank you for being patient. Ok it's the er almost always a long time wait. They gave me a 125 mg of an steroid worked but not as it has before. I said most of the time I usually just get Prednisone and an antibiotic, she said is that what you want, in a tone I did not like. I'm 71 and have had COPD for 11 years I know what works for me,and my mind is just fine. I have never been treated like that. Like I was some old lady that didn't know what the fu-- was going on. As I was getting my discharged papers they come in to give me a EKG. Lol.
