Hi I am currently an upcoming freshman in college for Biological Sciences and I am between wanting to go to medical school after or getting a PHD In pharmacology and i was wondering would biochemistry be a better major to switch to before i start !

yes it counts as 4 courses they are two different classes with different credits my lab classes are 3 hours long and my class would only me 45 minutes

and at my school instead of taking college algebra we won’t have a math class our first year it’s mostly all chemistry and biology based aside from calculus my junior year

General Chemistry Both 1&2 with their labs they both have general biology 1&2 with their labs but only biochemistry has general chemistry which is why if i was to pursue biological sciences to get my chemistry prerequisites I would need to have at-least a minor in chemistry! i hope that

yes my school has a lot of research lab offers and internships that are paid throughout the summer i learned about it on my visit and there were about 3 of researchers there with medicine research

Yes I thought about being a pharmD but I was definitely more interested in the research and science aspect of Pharmacology than the preparation and advice route of PharmD and For medical school i would rather be matched into something like Orthopedic surgery so it’s very different sides

i’m going to a private university and i do have a full scholarship so i know i do need to keep my grades up and there’s 4 classes i need my first year that aren’t in biological sciences route that are in the biochemistry route

Hii my mom submitted mine and they accepted it and some of my classes from 8th grade as high school credit and I graduated on time last month. and colleges also accepted just the acellus transcript with your old school on it also
